Kenmore 12-Cup Drip Coffee Maker Machine Digital Display- White

The 1-4 cup button does not work. I read the manual- followed instructions and nothing happens.The strong brew light does not come on when you press it after the start button as instructed and it does not make stranger coffee no matter if you press the 1-4 cup button before or after the start button. Also when it arrived that button was pushed in unlike all the other buttons.

➡️ The warming plate stays on so the carafe must be set aside until plate turns off.➡️ If you want to turn the warning plate off, one must UNPLUG and RE-plug the coffee maker. This results in the settings being lost. The instructions clearly state - “to turn off warning plate, unplug”➡️ There is a nice blue light that comes on when the coffee is ready. HOWEVER, the blue light is inside the water Reservoir - In the BACK.➡️ The top opening of the reservoir is so small, that it’s hard to pour water in, without spilling it.THIS item will be returned

Excellent - Reliable, Long Lasting Coffee Maker!

I purchased this exact model from Kmart over 12 years ago and mine still works fine! I love it! The stainless steel is starting to rust a little though, in places... not too badly. You can buy replacement charcoal filters online. The built-in filter is great, but I still line it with paper cone filters so I don't have to clean grounds out each time. The only thing I could do without is the automatic two-hour shut off. I drink too slowly for that. ;-) Great coffee maker! I'm buying it again!

Kenmore Coffee Maker

I think this is a great coffee maker. It is easy to use/program. I would actually only give this 4.75 stars. The only complaint for me is that the coffee maker makes a "loud" beeping sound when finished brewing. I would prefer a slightly lower volume since most people know they are brewing a pot and don't necessarily need to be reminded when it is done.

This particular coffeemaker has a lot going for it besides the trusted Kenmore name! First off, the permanent filter is a breeze to use and cleans out easily. Next, the wide spout carafe pours consistently, with nary a drop wasted. Finally, the discounted price was the clincher!

Love it but its unnecessarily loud

Really great quality. Slim design doesn’t take up too much counter space. The design on the carafe is great, it doesn’t spill coffee when you pour like many do. The only downside is how loud it beeps when it’s done brewing. Its unnecessarily loud. For about a week, my dog barked incessantly in fear every time it went off in the morning (it makes 5 long, loud beeps kind of reminiscent of a fire alarm). My dog has largely gotten over it now, but I still struggle to get used to the noise myself.

Nice slim pretty coffee maker

It is a perfect slim size. The beeping when the coffee is finished is a bit loud especially since I wake up way before the rest of the family. Programming works nicely. I do find the spot to pour in the water a little small so I always pour outside of it on accident. It makes great coffee and taste great when you use the 1-4 cups option!

No separate bold brew option as stated.

I like the looks of it and it seemed like a great deal for the price but once it arrived, I couldn't find the Bold brew button. The instruction say to use the 1-4 cup option but that make it brew faster so saying it has a bold brew option is misleading. We like our coffee bold and our last Kitchen Aid had a Bold button option. Yes, it takes about twice as long to make a pot of Bold coffee, but that's ok. Anything good is worth waiting for. Buy A Cuisinart.

The coffee maker was exactly as described in the description online which isn’t always the case. I like that you have the option of using a standard paper filter or the reusable filter that is supplied with the maker. The controls are very simple and intuitive without reading through pages of directions.
