Kensington Easy Riser Go 17" Laptop Stand - Black

Happy with the stand for my laptop, however it’s not quite high enough for me so I do still need to sit a few books underneath. It’s nimble/light to move which is useful and also very easy to store when not using.

I brought this because I thought it would be better quality than the same product from Kmart, but it is just cheap-feeling plastic. Now quite a few months into having it, the height and angle adjustments are prone to slipping and dropping the laptop. The fold-out shelf is also larger than expected and can make it difficult to type. It does help with cooling the laptop, but overall not worth the money.

A necessary purchase

This item is a must if you spend a huge amount of time on the laptop, so that you don't have to drop your neck for an extended periods with may lead to health implications. But make sure you are getting the correct size and not confused this with a similar product for laptops under 15".

Good laptop stand for working from home

This is a good stand for your laptop. I use this for work, working from home, and it gives the laptop the perfect amount of height. Totally adjustable depending on you’re own height, which i think is cool.

Perfect for home office, i needed to have my laptop raised and close to my other monitors for a 3 screen set-up.. works really well. Very happy with it

Great Stand for a Large Kindle

Actually, I didn't buy this for my laptop, although I might use it for that some day. I bought it to use as a stand for my 10" Kindle. I had purchased two others that were supposed to support tablets, but they didn't. The stands just fell over. The SmartFit was perfect. I'm so glad I happened upon it.

Laptop holder

I’ve been using this constantly for about 3 weeks. It’s been great so far- easy to set up and fold away. Many different angle options to choose from.

Sturdy & Handy....BUT

I was hesitant about any of the stands I looked up for a 17 laptop, but this Kensington will definitely hold my HP Envy17.....BUT !!!The ONLY problem is that this stand covers up 70% of the cooling vent holes on the bottom of the Envy. The only opening that is available is the small handhold slot, which isn't enough for proper cooling. Otherwise, theKensington SmartFit Easy Riser would be great if your cooling vent was at the large central hole.

Sturdy and well built

I’m very happy with this stand. It is light but sturdy and does not shake when I type. I originally bought it to carry from place to place but instead purchased a keyboard and mouse and use it to match my laptop to the height of my other desk monitors. I spend a lot of time at my computer, my neck and back feel better and I can work faster with less body movement.

Works great

Everything I expected from this product, functions on most surfaces great I can rest it in my lap if need be without worry. The optional elevation really helps keeping my laptop where I need it, no need to slouch.
