I need a white keyboard to adapt and identify action keys for a game I like. I took a chance concerning compatibility with the dedicated keyboard for this game, and so far, I have had no problems. The installation is a hook-and-play action, and the keyboard itself seems well-built and heavy-duty. Good value for me.

As mentioned before, this keyboard will drive you crazy if you touch type. The right shift key is shortened on this keyboard and the "\" has been moved to some of the space used by standard keyboards for the right shift key. When you expect to hit the right shift key, you will get "\" and a small letter. You cannot reach the right shift key without lifting your right hand off the keyboard which slows things down a lot. I discarded the box after unpacking & could not return the otherwise satisfactory keyboard but discovered a workaround, at least for Windows 7. I installed a key remapping tool called "Key 'Tweak" and used it to do the following. Key #29 remapped to "Right Shift" (default = \) Key #64 remapped to "\" (default = Context Menu) This changed the \ key to ... For whatever reason my keyboards get gunked-up with stuff and a "normal" non-washable keyboard is short-lived in my world. I've had other "water-proof" keyboards and found that they just didn't have a good feel when typing. I'm a old-school position typist and feel is important. With the others I often found I ended up doing the hunt-and-peck typing. I type often and that's just not acceptable. This keyboard has a light-feel to the keys and typing is a breeze once again. I've yet had to wash this thing....tipping the keyboard over and whacking it on the desk seems to clean it out pretty easily. I can't speak for it's longevity as I've only had it a couple of months, but would recommend it to anyone that types often.

The keys are smaller but has the same spacing as larger keys. This makes it easier to clean debris and reduces the chance of hitting 2 keys by mistake. Takes some getting used to. The key stroke is very deep and the bottom is rubbery. Like a quiet keyboard but its not completely quiet. Maybe 50% quieter than usual. I like this keyboard because I make less mistakes. This is because of the key spacing and deeper stroke. The weight is medium, not light or heavy, feels like good solid construction. The lettering is a grey on black finish so sightly hard to read. Also there is no engraving so the letters will rub off in time, as others have stated in their reviews. Typists hate this and gamers wont like the deeper key stroke. Overall its still a good deal for the price. I type with 2 fingers anyway so its not really a problem. Also reminder, it is washable but I havent tried that yet. It took about half a day to get used to and I am able to use it now without any problems. I ams tarting to like the key spacing and the deep stroke prevents mistakes. Its just going to be a mater of personal preference for you. I won;t return this one, its not perfect and I wont buy another. (For comparison I bought a Seal Shield Waterproof Washable Keyboard SSKSV107L R3 and its works great with NO problems. I wrote a review on that one too. Its all standard and keys have the feel of the higher end Chinese keyboards). Spend the extra money if you are fussy and get the Seal Shield brand.

I've had this keyboard for about 4 months and it is waterproof for the most part. I've washed it around 10 times and it works fine after a fairly QUICK LIGHT washing. When I do a deep washing with hot water in the space between the keys, it would not work until it is dried off. But this last washing resulted in the keyboard not functioning properly, not even after it dried fully. When I press certain keys, other characters would register on the screen, or multiple letters would show up at once. So yes, this is waterproof, only with a light washing/rinsing. If the additional money isn't an issue, I would go with the Logitech.
Nice feel to the keys, easily readable characters. Washability will be a great advantage. Can't judge durability yet, of course.My reservations are all about the layout: I find typing ~very~ awkward with the oversize 'enter' key, which shrinks the 'shift' key to make room for the displaced '|\' key. It's ~much~ harder to deal with the right-hand side of the keyboard when I have to overstretch my hand to reach from 'shift' to a character key. The crowning touch, of course, is that the swollen 'enter' key adds no value while the shrunken 'shift' key subtracts quite a lot: a net loss.(Just so you know, I ordered this with a new computer over the phone so had no chance to see the keyboard layout until it arrived. I won't do that again.)

Bought this at beginning of covid with another washable keyboard. Finally went to use it, and it is not usable, because they have moved a slash key down to take half of the space usually occupied by the shift key on any keyboard I've ever used. So every time I tried to shift, I hit the slash key, which is normally located above the enter button. It's probably too late to return, so will donate it.
Needed a replacement for my keyboard. For 30 bucks, this one is a bargain! (It's much cheaper than anything out there...)... PROS: Easy plug-and-play... 30 seconds to insert USB port and start.. It has the full keyboard and number pad.. It claims it's spill proof. We'll see; but, for 30 bucks, I'm good. CONS: The shift button is slightly different and smaller than my previous keyboard. So, I'm adjusting to the new placement... Overall, this is worthwhile. Plus, Staples delivered it within 48 hours.. (I'm thinking of buying another one for my laptops...).. 4 1/2 stars...
