Kensington StudioCaddy With Qi Wireless Charging For Apple Devices

I love this versatile caddy. The fact that you can separate the charging station from the caddy itself is very useful, as I only have to bring the caddy to my desk when charging a mac or iPad. Otherwise, the charger sits on my desk for my phone and my airpod pro's. When bringing the caddy and the charging station together you can feel the tug of the magnets that keep both pieces together. Overall the build is of high quality, which is expected from Kensington. The only improvement that I think needs to be made here is a better cable management system for running from the back to the from left side when using the caddy and another when only using the charging station. I received a sample of this product for free in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.Gets the job done.Nicely.Easy setup and use.I have to admit the only device I could put in the stand was my iPad 12.9 4th Gen.Due to the high price of apple products that's all I can afford at present. But...the side ports for usb-A and usb-C work fine for charging my iPod touch 4th gen and my iPad midi.so as for use it is useful for me. and as with most Kensington products it's solidly built and easy to setup.I am pleased.

This means it is half the watts (7.5w) for the iPhone compared to MagSafe (15w). It is especially slow compared to a wired connection with a powerful adapter (20-24w). But this is a feature of all Qi charging.-The USB-C port is only 20 watts, not capable of fast charging an iPad (which requires 30 watts). The other port is a USB-A port that only sends 12 watts. If you have a laptop and iPad set up on the stand, like it was designed, you will have to charge them with another adapter if you want fast charging.-Very expensive.-does not include an Apple Watch charger (not an applicable con if you don’t have an Apple Watch; may actually be a pro in that case)
