There are many different brands of stand mixers available in market. We picked Kenwood against others because of its quality. It is built with robust metal. The vintage look makes it a good apparatus to display in the kitchen. I have to mention also the user manual is handy and inspiring for people who want to learn baking. It helps saving time and producing successful products. It is a bit pricey and that's why a star is taking off.

Bought the Kenwood mixer on a bit of a whim. It was on offer and as a wannabe 'baker' I felt it may help my kitchen creations. Well in a way it does. It certainly makes the process of mixing easier and more consistent, resulting in, mainly, better quality bread and cakes. Caveat: what happens after the mixer has done its duty is of course no fault of the Kenwood, so any failures are solely down to the baker. Seriously though, this is a cracking piece of kit, does exactly what it is meant to and in addition, with the attachments recently bought, converts into a food mixer as well. Great value.

Pros: I like the metal bits that come with the machine as standard. I love the bowel, the k paddle, and the dough hook. I love the strong motor too.Cons: When it's on full power for bread dough it rattles a lot, shakes on the worktop could use a heavier base to make it more sturdy. I've done some cookies and when the dough gets harder the actual motor starts to shake and wobble. Although the motor helps. Its my pet hate, it just feels like poor quality but it's reflects in the price. Its so loud and noisey. It really feels like a bull in a China shop.

I bought this for myself with birthday money. It offers a good product for a good price but there are a few issues. The glass bowl is heavy (as others mentioned) but that's not too bad once you get used to it. The most annoying niggle is the ring that fits the bowl into the base is not robust enough. I am onto my third in three years (the first two were replaced FOC due to being in guarantee). It seems a shame for a good product to be let down by this cheap part (a plastic ring) which could be improved quite easily. Overall I am happy with my purchase but it could be a case of you get what you pay for.
The KMX760 Stand mixer is very well built with a powerful 1000 Watt motor that deals with all bread dough varieties without problem. The K Beater blade and Dough hook work very well; I've had no issues with the ingredients not being properly caught and mixed although I do sometimes encourage bread dough into the centre with the soft plastic spatula. I had to buy a new mixer as my old one broke after 20 years. After much deliberation I decided not to buy the comparable but much more expensive mixer that is on the market but rather to go with Kenwood again as I loved my old mixer so much. I'm glad I stuck with Kenwood, this new one is even better than my old one. It makes excellent fluffy cakes, mixes, beats, makes bread & pastry very efficiently & much more quickly than my old one. It is well made, quite heavy as it is made from good quality metal (good!) & it is robust with good capacity. I am really pleased with my purchase &, as a bonus, it looks good on the worktop.
Easy to use, stable on the work top and perfect piece of equipment for general cooking use. My big Kenwood which has lasted so well for over 45 years was making noises I did not like. Since it has been so useful and reliable I decided to remain with Kenwood. Albeit smaller than the large version it does everything I need, makes cakes, bread, biscuits. Solid build and excellent value compared with others. I purchased the red as this was an even better offer, lovely colour.Attachments as with my previous model can be purchased if required.

Kenwood arranged to collect it and it came back ten days later "repaired" - however when it was taken away the mixer unit itself was in pristine condition, but when it was returned it was covered in dents and chips. I have just picked up my new red kMix from my local Waitrose and upon unpacking was delighted with how it looked. My 40 year old Kenwood Chef gave up the ghost whilst mixing my Christmas cake so as a new one seemed pretty pricey I decided on this model. However, I am so disappointed that all the attachments do not fit including the K beater, whisk, dough hook, splatter guard, mincer, coffee grinder and can opener. Also, it does not have the capacity for a blender attachment at all, never mind the one I already have. So, if you have attachments for a previously loved Chef just bear in mind that they will not fit this machine. I'm now wondering whether there is a converter tool to allow old attachments to fit. I weighed up purchasing this Kenwood kMix against a popular & far more expensive mixer & I am not disappointed. Not only does it look lovely, it is smooth & efficient. From whipping egg whites & cream to mixing bread dough it does a great job. All of the mixtures are well incorporated, unlike previous machines that I have used. It is so easy to use & far quieter that I was expecting. Unlike other machines it remains steady even when kneading bread mix. I would definitely recommend.
