I like many functions but most importantly I like its weigh scale function, when I pour plain flour into the bowl, the digital panel shows me the exact weight of the flour I poured in, and when I want to mix other ingredients in it, I do not need to weigh separately. It saves time and reduce mess in the kitchen. I also like its 1200W powerful motor with less noise when you use. It comes with 3 different head covers you can change as you like or change as you want to match with your other kitchen appliances.

I never got the baking genetics so I love a machine thats easy and simple to use. I love to make cakes for dinner parties and liked how this mixer weighed my Ingredients as I added them to the machine. I also like you can buy separate attachments to do fancy things such as make your own pasta. You can also buy different colours for the top of mixer to mix up when you feel like a colour change!

This is great for dough making, which is why I bought it. It can handle 1260g of flour /840g of water without any shaking or movement of the machine, because of the strong motor. I found I needed to remove the clear plastic top during use however as the sides of the bowl need scraping down with a spatula as its beating , to incorporate all the ingredients. The clear plastic top is great between uses, however, as it keeps the bowl dust free and it looks good on the bench.

The inbuilt scales are excellent (remember to take off the marked sticker on the display) Mixes great but annoyed I have to scrape don sides and bottom in between mixing to mix everything evenly. The splash cover is the worst design ever and will fall off at the slightest bump. I removed it and dont miss it one bit. Overall not a bad mixer but wished it mixed without scraping down.
What I love about this machine is that it has both style and substance. It offers a number of advantages and features such as extra bowl for mixing, direct to bowl weighing, and a delicate fold function. I also like a lot the Nesting DuoBowl as they can nest inside one another providing options for better storage and ease during baking process. The inbuilt EasyWeigh scales facilitated weighing ingredients right into the mixing bowl which kind of take the things to next level saving time, and minimising mess and that felt so well during baking. Once I got home I loved the ease of using the food processor for making my salads with ease! In early December when it was time for making by Christmas puddings I loved using the scales as I added the ingredients and loved the fact it made making 4 puddings for family gifts! I've also used the Chef for other things over Christmas to make gifts for friends and family The Chef and the Food processor get 5 stars!I also purchased the icecream churn in December to make icecream for the Christmas Day celebration! I am really disappointed with this product, after upgrading from a Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer. I bought the Kenwood because it had a larger bowl capacity for making cookie dough than the Kitchen Aid. The machine itself was also lightweight which I was looking forward to. However, it is very unsteady and the whole machine moves/vibrates on the bench, even when making the smallest amount of cookie dough. The Kitchen Aid weighs more for a good reason, so the mixer is sturdy when mixing. The Kenwood motor also doesn't seem as powerful. Very disappointed as I mainly make cookie dough and now can't use it for the intended purpose.
Very happy with my purchase and the service I received from Harvey Normal. The mixer is great, I struggled to find something strong enough to mix gingerbread dough and this mixer is perfect for the job. It didn’t struggle or overheat even after mixing for 10 minutes. The sales assistant who helped me choose this was very knowledgeable about the power each machine had and what I would need for what I was making.
This is my 2nd Kenwood in 7 months. The new "Sense" Kenwood purchased in April developed a problem with its gearbox, laboured with bread dough and its top also moved. It was not happy and neither was I. To De'longhi's / Kenwood's credit, it was replaced recently, with an upgraded model. This machine has done the business, mixing bread dough on two occasions now and I am so far very happy. It has scales, something have not used and doubt if I will ever use. Oh, it is also quiet.
Loving the Titanium Chef Baker XL so far. I also bought the food processor attachment and that's fabulous for chopping the carrots and pumpkin for my Labrador's supplement to her kibble. Quieter than I expected too!Can't wait to make the Chrissie puddings (Can't believe it's that time already!) with the scales meaning I can just add to the mix rather than fiddling with different bowls and my kitchen scales that turn off after about 15 seconds of being left! Also looking forward to some other recipes I've been going to try!
