It’s good, but doesn’t chop, it purées.Won’t crush the ice, you get large chunks. The cup is wider so the ice just moves around the blades.I thought being kenwood it would be better then my last Aldi purchase, but sadly No.it works don’t get me wrong and it’s is good, great for soup, but what I bought for, making my smoothies, not so good.

This unit whilst being very expensive in comparison to other similar other stick blendersHowever I bought the unit to use Kenwood's unique potato masher and that did not come with this very basic unit. Bought a Kenwood masher by itself But it does not fit this this model. Very disappointed. Target offered a return but too late.
I bought this hand blender as my old one that I bought 15 years ago for $30 at the supermarket was finally on its last legs. Still worked, but started sparking. I use it to make soups of mainly things like cauliflower and potatoes. Somehow this hand blender can't make a smooth soup. While my old cheap one never struggled, this one is lumpy as.
Bought to blend soups and chop salad veg. All good until you wash it. No matter how careful I was the chopper attachment fills up with water. Impossible to drain and you are unable to pull apart. A couple of months on and I’ve been hoping it would have evaporated but sadly no and now the chopper part makes a crunching noise inside like it’s hit rust in it. I wished I’d read the reviews out there as I notice this is a common issue.
I bought this thinking that it would be of good value coz of the brand. Used it twice only since I bought it in Nov 2020. On the second time I used it, it just died for no reason.
Very useful gadget and convenient to use. I use the stick mixer almost everyday, happy with the spill-proof wand.
