A very good, smooth drinking vodka. Great for martinis. You can find some nice small batch local stuff for similar prices, and it’s nice to support local, but if some of my local favs are sold out I’ll definitely grab this. Not my FAVOURITE but it’s very good. Just don’t waste it in a Caesar. That’s what Smirnoff is for.

Ketel One used to be one of my favorite vodkas. It’s a shame they went on the anti-science bandwagon to market to the scientifically illiterate masses who think GMO’s are evil because they saw a Netflix documentary. News flash, Ketle one and its fans: there is NO GMO wheat in ANYTHING, so not only is the premise ridiculously anti-science, it’s shamefully misleading. GMO’s have been scientifically tested and proven safe more than any other food you could possibly eat, and glyphosate was only proven unsafe by a freakin JURY in a court of people who don’t understand genetics or chemistry. Actual SCIENCE done by actual SCIENTISTS have tested it thoroughly and proven it safe. I won’t drink Ketel again until they drop the anti-science BS.#Ketel OneVodka

Full Disclaimer: I am not a vodka drinker. Vodka is never my first choice. Bourbon, Rye, and Gin are my go to. Brandy/Cognac isn’t a terrible choice either, neither is Scotch. But Vodka belongs in mixed drinks. Very specific mixed drinks. Espresso Martini or Bloody Mary are the two cocktails I might make or order out of Vodka given the right circumstances. However I always have Ketel One on hand. People seem to love it. I have had BAD vodka, and Ketel One certainly is not that. It’s good enough to keep around for friends and family that like the spirit.

As a former bartender and club/bar hopper, I know my liquors. I am not a big drinker now, but in my former profession I sampled a lot when creating new drinks or perfecting staple cocktails. It does not matter what new brand comes out or which brand is the current "it" vodka, Ketel One will always be my choice. Unless you are a newly turned 21 year old or a broke college student, you have probably been able to tell that vodkas taste different. It is perfect for cocktails, complimenting the flavor instead of overtaking it or ruining it. And because of its quality, when consumed in moderation, those nasty hangover headaches aren't nearly as bad.

Ketle One has quickly become my go to vodka. I request this for mixed drinks out at the bar and also purchase for homemade cocktails. I find that it has a nice, smooth flavor that easily blends into any mixed drink. As a “middle shelf” vodka, it is well priced. I definitely feel you get the best for you dollar with Ketel.

First I have to say I am not a vodka drinker. As a matter of fact I don’t drink any white liquors, because of how it leaves a lingering bitter taste and the aftermath is never pleasant. One evening my dad had me try this with a squeeze of lime and oh my goodness what a smooth vodka. I was in shock. Needless to say when I decide to have a vodka cocktail. It most definitely is Kettle One

Love Ketel one vodka! So smooth! I love a good vodka and cranberry or as my husband would say I like a splash of cranberry with my vodka. Haha. This is one of my go to vodka choices. I absolutely love how “clean” tasting it is. I never feel bad the next day. Some vodkas will give you headaches no matter how much you drink. Ketel One has never let me down. This is my favorite liquor AND Vodka. The filtration and quality is fat above the price this is good enough to be mixed with only rocks, lime, or another liquor. Most vodkas are too rough. This is smooth and mixes with my favorite drink: Kettle One, rocks, 1 1/4 ounce (1 shot) of Chambord Raspberry Liquér, 2 shots Kettle One add ice, shake, and top with 3 fresh lime slices (or fresh lime juice). You'd never know it's an "all liquor drink" until they catch up! As a former bartender, kettle one is a TRUE upsell unlike Smirnoff (worst) or Stoli (less awful). None stack up to the price except for Kettle One Vodka. ❤️

Always a good choice.

Ketel One is one of the safest choices when shopping for vodka. It doesn't blow you away, but it's easy to find, very easy to drink, tastes neutral with slight sweetness, has just a tiny bit of ethanol burn and no rubbing alcohol taste or smell; it's a consistent, no-nonsense vodka. It's equally good for shooting, sipping and mixing, and if you're not a heavy drinker, you'll be pleased to see that it keeps very well in the freezer, probably due to the stoic but sturdy bottle and cap design. I might have given it four stars because I personally like being a bit more adventurous, but when I can't afford to be disappointed, I'll reach for Ketel One every time. Five stars it is.

I bought this expecting it to be some magnificent smooth yet palette satisfying stuff like Buchanan’s 12yr Scotch but was somewhat disappointed. I’d rate it a 7.5/10 and only slightly better than red label Smirnoff. Absolut is better (9/10) and on the low price point so are Svedka (8.8/10) and Vesica 9.5/10 (that’s Polish real potatoe vodka-I LOVE Vesica). I haven’t tried all the other Polish Swedish or Russian stuff yet but thus far my top 4 of all-time are 1) Vesica 2) Absolut 3) Svedka and 4) Pinnacle. Ketle One burns like Smirnoff red label or Popov (not a bad cheap vodka btw but nothing special either). Pinnacle is better tasting and smoother than Ketel One IMO. Like I said, Vesica or Absolut truly is the way to go.
