I purchased the shed as a replacement for the one I had, which was falling down. The reviews I’d seen looked promising and the price from Wayfair looked keen, certainly the keenest I could find. So I committed and placed the order, and very pleased now that I did. The sheds arrived the following day, amazing service. The delivery company kept me updated and gave me a time slot for their delivery. That worked perfectly. So I set up a level base using slabs and built the shed on top of it. The shed comes with a floor which goes very well over the slabs, so that worked well. Then I put up the shed, single handed but it would be easier with two. I think it took me about 5 hours after which everything was complete. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wishing to buy a 6ft x 4ft shed.

Recieved this shed a few days ago, the delivery couldnt have went any smoother. I finished putting it together today, it took me about 10 hours over 2 days. Most everything went smooth until the roof went on, I couldnt get the roof to sit all the way down on side walls, so when it came time to screw the roof down I had to place the screws lower than they were supposed to be placed, thereby causing some screws to stick out the of the wall. With that done, the window was my next problem, that was alittle hectic putting together. Overall the assembly went pretty good, definitely need a second person. The shed looks great, and will make an excellent garden shed. Im very happy with this shed, and recommend this shed.

I was lucky enough to find this on fb marketplace around 7 years ago for $50! It has held up well through our upper peninsula winters. It’s not unusually to get dumped with many feet of snow at once. The shed measures 4 x 6 which is perfect for the area I needed it in. As you can see by my photos there wasn’t much room to work with. But I needed a place to store stuff I needed access to fast and not get ruined by the elements. Keter fit that bill. I’ve since purchased a bigger unit for my back yard because I was so pleased with the quality of this one. I recommend keter. I think if you purchase one you will be pleased to!

My 6 x 10 wooden shed/workshop had reached the end of its life. 20yrs ago I bought a 6 x 8 Keter shed for my mother & although faded it still looks does the job. 10yrs ago I bought a Keter 6 x 4 shed of similar design and it too is fine. On the basis of this and reviews I bought this one. It is very different from the previous 2. The previous ones were all plastic, thick walls and no screws. The floors are solid. This one is a very different beast. Thin walls, many screws (100's) and a soft floor.Having said that, value for money it's pretty good. If you want a solid replacement for a wooden shed look elsware. You must have a VERY flat base if you expect to get the roof to fit & the doors to shut.I had a concrete base that my wooden shed was on but it was 1/2 inch ... MoreMy 6 x 10 wooden shed/workshop had reached the end of its life. 20yrs ago I bought a 6 x 8 Keter shed for my mother & although faded it still looks does the job. 10yrs ago I bought a Keter 6 x 4 shed of similar design and it too is fine. If you want a solid replacement for a wooden shed look elsware. You must have a VERY flat base if you expect to get the roof to fit & the doors to shut.I had a concrete base that my wooden shed was on but it was 1/2 inch (12mm) high in one corner and was a nightmare to get the roof to fit & the doors are not a wonderful fit.The floor is very soft. I put down heavy duty coin plastic flooring and still had to put some ply feet (about the size of coasters) under the legs of the shelving used. However it looks tidy and does the job. Only time will tell if the many (painted steel) screws will start to rust.If you want a good value for money place to store things its fine.
I bought this shed recently because I need more storage space in the garden. It replaced a Keter storage unit. The shed panels are thinner than my original storage unit and don’t seem to be as sturdy but hopefully it will last as long as the storage unit. It is in a sheltered spot. It took 2 of us to build over 2 days, but that was due to time constraints. It wasn’t easy to build because the panels have to be fitted into the frame and they kept coming out until we got the screws in! Once built it was slightly up on one corner and not level, but once filled with garden stuff it seems ok. Not sure about the floor and how it will withstand the weight of things stored in the shed because it’s a bit flimsy and gives a bit when you walk on it. It is on slabs though so I am optimistic that it will be ok! Overall it’s a nice looking shed and can store a lot of stuff. Only drawback is that I can’t put shelving up as I don’t think the walls are strong enough, so I have used shelving units instead!
The completed shed looks good and is reasonably sturdy. The roofline is curved either side as the middle wouldn't go down any further but the ends needed pushing down to get the screws in properly. The right door doesn't close all the way at the bottom but a small catch can easily be added. I would give 4 stars if it wasn't for the fact that some panel components are really difficult to put together because of too tight a fit and some flimsy edges. Everything is screwed together with lots of screws so fittings could be a bit looser to put together. The lightness was useful in a tight space as the shed can easily be moved around, even when fully complete and my wife and I could lift the roof on OK.
It looks nice when it was put together. I just hope it's as sturdy as it claims to be. It was nice that it offered a floor, but the "resin" is actually plastic and it corrugated, meaning that when you step or kneel on it it collapses where the pressure is the greatest. I ended up cutting a piece of plywood to fit over it to distribute the weight better. The door was designed to open to the right. I wanted to have it open to the left, Not a problem to do so, but the siding doesn't match-up. Again, not a big deal to me, but some may be less than enthusiastic. It was nice to buy something from a different part of the world for a change, but if you're ordering from the West coast, it'll probably take longer to get.The roof is black. Haven't had it long enough to know if that will add to the interior heat. It also comes with vents. I put screening material over it to not make it so easy for insects to get in. Would have been nice if that was part of the design.Another good thing is that it is light enough to move if you need to move it during construction or after it's built. That may be also a bad thing because it may not be a sturdy as a metal or wood shed. Finally, when assembling it, the screws that they give you go all the way through the wall. If you're savvy enough. You can angle the screw to prevent this. Sometimes it's not possible though.Knowing how much Sheds cost, I suppose it's a reasonable price. Just have expectations that's it's going to be an amazing shed. It's nice don't get me wrong, but I was hoping for something that warranted the price tag.
Due to me paying by card, but with a different delivery address. The shed arrived at my house while I was out, so the driver obviously read the card address as a delivery address. Anyway, managed to move it a mile and a half to the delivery address. Assembled it over two afternoons, occasionally needing an extra pair of hands, very easily. As it's not pre-drilled, I would reccommend two drills. One with a drill bit, and the other with a screwdriver bit, as putting all the screws in is probably the most time-consuming part. The keep and drawbolt for the door are pre-drilled, and that is a bit of a problem if the door is slightly out of line. There is a security issue, where the bolt keep could easily be unscrewed to gain entry. This could be solved by replacing some ... MoreDue to me paying by card, but with a different delivery address. There is a security issue, where the bolt keep could easily be unscrewed to gain entry. This could be solved by replacing some of the screws with nuts and bolts. However, anyone desperate to steal your junk out of the shed, could just cut through the side panels with a Stanley knife. In a nutshell, it's a smart looking shed requiring very little maintenance, but get something more substantial if you want to store the family silver.
The rigidity of the shed is provided by square metal tubing inserted in critical components. The shed itself, is otherwise, paper thin, double walled (recycled?) plastic. The worst part is that even the floor is made of the same material. During assembly, the square metal tubing slid out and hit the floor and it made a hole in the floor. I get the wall and roof can be thin plastic but the floor should definitely be made of better material. Poor material quality for sure but definitely a lot of engineering put into it to ensure it will not collapse. Also, when it was advertised as a 8x6 shed, the actual measurement is slightly less. I think it will last 10 years if I am careful not to further damage the floor but I would not buy it again. It is really barely adequate.
Delivery was very quick, although sadly the box was damaged upon arrival. Thankfully the contents inside all seemed okay though apart from the roof bar, where one of the plastic ends had broke off, I managed to mend this though. Truthfully the assembly wasn’t the easiest and caused a lot of swearing. Definitely need 2 people for the assembly, especially for the roof, and I would also recommend using a cordless screwdriver / drill to drive in the screws. The instructions are well written and clear, but it’s definitely worth taking your time to assemble it. There is a lot of screws, so again best to refer to the instructions to ensure your using the correct ones for each bit. There is a lot of screws, so again best to refer to the instructions to ensure your using the correct ones for each bit. We’ve got a few Keter products and generally like them for their ease of build and quality. Not going to lie, I am a little disappointed with certain aspects of this shed, truthfully I think the floor needs to be thicker, as it is very thin. Roof is difficult to put on, as you get one end on and the other pops off, so definitely need 2 people for that bit. The side panels are generally okay and fit for purpose, but again best to ensure their aligned and fitted in the grooves correctly. As others have mentioned, despite the doors being fitted correctly, the right door at the bottom doesn’t sit flush with the left door, so we’ve added a hasp and staple to the top and bottom to add a bit more security to it. We also changed the bolt to a more heavy duty one. We also found the bolt on the bottom left hand door wasn’t quiet long enough to go in to the hole, so we’ve replaced that one too. As our shed is at the front of the property we’ve also added some vinyl wrap to the window to add some privacy. Even though the shed is now fully assembled, it’s still light enough to move, should we need to. Despite the blood, sweat and tears that went in to the assembly, I must admit that it does look good and despite its generous internal size, it’s still relatively small and doesn’t take up a lot of space. Our is at the front of our property and we’ve already had comments from people passing by and neighbours, saying how good it looks and some have also enquired about the price and equally now wish to purchase one themselves. So in a nut shell, be prepared for a challenge to assemble it, but the end result is worth it.
