Material is plastic but sturdy. All the pieces snap together easily. It's definitely a one person job putting together. Interior storage can handle about 44 lbs. The exterior lid and structure can handle weight of about 286 lbs. So it can be a good single person seat or a good seat for a couple of toddlers. The lid is lockable with a small padlock (sold separately, of course). Directions are easy to follow. Hinges are plastic and snap in place. Just put two together in about 15 minutes. Can't speak to durability, but I'm really kind of glad I didn't put too much value on the negative comments. The box is weather resistant, not weatherproof, or waterproof. So store items accordingly. I got lucky and got them on sale, so yea me.

I brought this storage box so UPS,FEDEX,Amazon and the USPS could all put my packages in it during the winter months! it really hold’s large package and boxes, they have all used it and my package aren’t in the open where it temp’s porch pirate’s. We loved it so much we ordered one for our neighbors for the wedding gift! They were also thrilled with it!!! They both came in just a few days and there was no damage to either one.

I asked about the display and found out it was sold. I purchased 2 of these boxes and I'm so glad I did;the price was unbeatable. I used one on my front porch as a delivery box and the other is perfect for my outdoor tv that's been in the house😅. The boxes are very easy to snap together (I used a craft malet to make sure everything was tight), there's a place for a lock if needed and it's weatherproof.Once together I put duct tape over the tiny space hole in the both back corners from the inside. I'm a 70yr old female, put them together in my living room and I definitely recommend these storage boxes.
This outdoor storage is pretty sturdy. I wasn’t sure about its ability to keep items dry, but we’ve had a lot of hard wind and rain and it has held up completely.The storage container is extremely easy to assemble by snapping its sections in place. The material is super sturdy.I’m completely happy with my purchase.
The Keter storage box has worked out perfect for my outdoor chair cushions and a few other items I've stored in it when stormy weather was predicted. It is very lightweight so it's easy to move around. That being said, time will tell as to its durability. But for now, its really helped in organizing my outdoor patio and has added as an extra table next to one of my chairs.
I bought this to use a as parcel receptacle for online deliveries. It was easy to assemble and very strong. I bought a sign separately to label the lid to give instructions to place my purchases inside the box. It sits in a covered alcove near my front door. I feel it's much safer to keep my purchases out of sight from potential porch pirates. So far, most of the delivery people have been great with putting my packages inside. I'm very happy with this sturdy box.
I needed a smaller Keter outdoor storage box and this works great for my needs. Not too big like the 90 gallon I had for my pool. Since we just moved to a new home with no pool, I needed a smaller storage to hold all my kids water slides, water guns, water balloons, etc.After hubby saw this 1 I bought, he asked to buy another for his outdoor supplies/tools. It was great $ @ $24.91. If I had room for more in the backyard, I’d get more. But definitely worthwhile for the size and price if your needing a more compact size based on limited backyard space.
Any kind of warranty claim representation by Keter should be taken with a grain of salt. When attempting to get a replacement for a defective cover/top on a purchase of a 30 gal deck box, Keter replied that they don’t stock the part and that I should return the item to store that it was purchased from. How do you warranty something for a year or two but don’t have parts for an item purchased within a week. My only option is to return the item, as I’m unable to exchange it because it is out of stock. So now I must disassemble the assembled box, repackage it and return it to the store. My concern moving forward with Keter is that I also purchased a 165 gal deck box, I guess if I need some sort of warranty coverage or part for it in the future that I’ll be out of luck.

I got first one for automatic pool vac and is perfect size for my intex zx300 along with 21’ hose and adapter for it and my other side skimmer and hose plus adapter then some more stuff. I read a lot of people using it for towels on their deck or patio for the pool once they dry or are cleaned. I have noticed it doesn’t get spiders or webs as much as my other 2 models. I have the giant 230 gallon as well and left review. Had for 2years it’s same as day I got it same with this but a medium one prev purchase not from Sam’s has faded out so they don’t match when they should cause they should not fade.
