It's a beautiful little thing although I didn't think it was little when I ordered. I bought it because of the price I unfortunately didn't read anything about it. It was an impulse impulse buy. But I love everything about it.This morning unfortunately I found my kettle was leaking badly. I don't know what the cause. Very disappointed.

I love this kettle. It looks great and matches my Smeg toaster. As a single person household a small kettle means that you don't boil up more water than is needed. The Smeg kettle has a handy MIN and MAX level guide inside so you don't under or over fill your kettle. I find this kettle works very quickly and is not noisy when in operation. This kettle operates as well as it looks. Love it !!! If you need a mini kettle this one will not disappoint !!!

If you want to buy this kettle, you must keep the recipe at least for a year.Cause you will see BUBBLES grow around cap and spout and they don't want to do any customer service without it.They indicated ‘Manufacturer's 1-year limited warranty’ but they required the recipe of purchase. Some ppl buy with cash and don’t keep the recipe if they want to keep it.This bubble things happened by manufacture issue not by purchase issue. And I am sure there is no knock off SMEG out there. Wherever I buy SMEG it’s from SMEGIt definitely not worth it for the price. You could buy even better quality with 30bucks.

This is a perfect size for me. I always overfill kettles and with this I can't! This saves energy, cost and makes my cuppa quicker. It looks amazing in my kitchen as well!! Ordering was easy and delivery was quick and packaged well. Love John Lewis for their electrical 2 year cover on products.
Love the design and size but the lid often sticks (like, really sticks) and then on a number of occasions the plastic cover on the lid has come off completely. The more you open and close the lid over time the more steam escapes out the back and onto your hand when pouring. Shame as the design is good, but if you'd ask me would I get another then the answer is no.
This is the perfect kettle for 2 people. I love that it looks lovely, feels like good quality, is silent when boiling, and quick. Unfortunately, I have replaced it twice due to the kid being stiff and eventually pulling off. The very tightly fitting lid is a design flaw for areas with hard water.
I purchased this kettle as the start of my drive to have a more efficient household. I wanted a smaller kettle which still looked good. This kettle is an ideal size and can boil enough water for 2 good tea cups. The kettle bolis quickly and is quiet. The style as you would expect from Smeg is fantastic. I did buy the 2 slice toaster as well, and very pleased with this too.
The lid is really stiff to open, you do need to use quite a bit of force. Consequently the lid covering has come off in my hand twice. Was bought so my elderly mother could lift it to make tea as it is a small capacity, but she hasn't the strength to even open it. It's a lovely looking item, but definitely form over function so have sadly had to return it.
Good Points: Small and efficient, but far too expensive. This is my second kettle in 3 years and second toaster ( but this was discounted) as I complained of the cost and item life. However, my SMEG cooker is still great.Improvement Points: Cost
This kettle is very stylish with the retro look, it’s decorative in the kitchen. I love how small it is because my husband used to boil an entire litre of water for just one cup of coffee 😂. No he can’t an you can only boil a small amount! Perfect for us.
