Kevin Murphy Hydrate-Me.Rinse 250 ml

I am obsessed with Kevin Murphy products!! They smell incredible and work miracles on my color-treated hair. My stylist recommended the Hydrate-me.wash last winter and using this with the Hydrate-me.rinse and Young.again treatment oil has completely changed my hair. I get my dark blonde hair colored every 6 weeks and this regimen has made my hair soft, shiny (which is HARD for color-treated blonde hair), and almost no frizz. My hair has never been this healthy since I started coloring it. I also used to struggle with psoriasis-related dandruff and that all but disappeared which shouldn’t have been affected but somehow, this miracle stuff made it better. For my dry, damaged hair it works really well. I do switch it up sometimes with olaplex to get the best results, but this so far has been the best hydrating conditioner. It does have a strong smell, at first i wasn’t sure if i liked this but i’ve grown on to it. For those who are sensitive on smells this might be too strong. I would definitely suggest this product it does work wonders on hair. It is at the pricey end, but if you’re willing to spend the money it will be worth it

I usually don't go out of my way to review products unless I really like them. But this product (and entire hair care line) are a serious exception because these products left me so displeased that for the first time in my beauty junkie LIFE, I'm going out of my way to review something negatively because I found it that terrible. I know a lot of people have found their Holy Grail in this product and the Kevin Murphy line but overall it was a MAJOR miss for me. I invested in several of the products throughout the entire line and was outstandingly unhappy with the effects it had on my hair, especially long term. I thought perhaps since their formulas are so concentrated that perhaps there was an adjustment period for my hair to"get used to" the formula of a new brand or to begin seeing the benefits but ultimately I was highly disappointed in the overall entire line of products (shampoo, conditioner, mask, smoothing cream, shine spray). This line of the brand is called Hydrate me. But despite my high hopes for such a salon endorsed brand, this did virtually the opposite of that for me. The shampoo I reviewed got one star for being so dangerously drying. This got two stars because AT FIRST there is some silkiness to the hair as if it had been in some way at least remotely hydrating. But as stated in my other reviews, in less than an hour my hair felt parched and my normally silky ends felt pokey and rough and despite all the time I spent doing my hair, this made a total waste of it because inevitably, after about an hour my fine hair felt so uncomfortably stiff and course that I couldn't stand to have it down a minute longer than I had to once the crunchiness set in.Against my better judgement, I tried to give this brand the benefit of the doubt since its considered so high end salon quality and I wish I had listened to my instincts instead of the reviews because within two weeks my hair was like STRAW (I only wash twice a week) and I was left with strands so dry that I could literally HEAR crunching against itself every time it moved and even hair masks from other brands I rely on could not recover any slip or softness and my hair ends felt so rough they stuck to themselves killing any body, shine, or movement whatsoever. It got so bad that I thought perhaps I had damaged it more than I realizes at some unknown point and was going to need to give in and get it cut back to a healthier length to recover. As it turns out THIS shampoo and hair care line were responsible and shortly after making the switch back to the Davines Minu I loved so much, my hair started to gain some life back. But even after two or three months of junking this stuff and banishing it from my bathroom, my hair still has yet to feel the silky, swing-y same. I sank $200 into trying to get the full benefits of this line and it was a truly regrettable investment. I wouldn't even give this away to someone else. I basically threw $200 in the garbage to temporarily (I hope) wreck the quality of my hair.

Actual weightless hydration for very fine, very thin 1A hair

Before discovering Kevin Murphy I struggled to find suitable products for my VERY fine, VERY thin hair (extreme type 1A). I have always sacrificed damage and dryness for the sake of my number one priority- volume! I am obsessed with the entire Plumping range - I have been using it for 3 months and my hair has not looked this good in years! Because we heat our home with wood for 5-6 months of the year, my hair and skin always get very dehydrated. I decided to try the Hydrate.Me rinse after my Plumping wash and I am thrilled with the results. I don't have quite as much volume as I do with the Plumping rise, but it is 100% weightless and my dry ends look so pretty and healthy. Amazing!

I have old bleach through my ends and naturally a dry hair texture anyway. It also knots very easily. I use a fraction of the amount of product compared to my old conditioner and it does such an amazing job. My hair looks shinier and feels softer since using it. My ends are still a little fried but that's down to bleach, I'm not expecting miracles. I suspect that can only be fixed through cuts. Smell is really lovely also. Definitely would repurchase.

Best shampoo

Where do I even start with how much I love the shampoo. I have tried so many products over the years. Nothing worked. It would either leave my hair very dry or very greasy. Not only does the shampoo leave my hair, beautiful, shiny and voluptuous. It smells amazing and the price is even better. I was paying double that for shampoo that did nothing for me. I have found my lifetime shampoo, best money, you will ever spend.

Favourite conditioner!

I have quite long hair thats a light colour and gets dry quite easy. This conditioner is great it leaves my hair feeling soft silky and smells amazing! It feels buttery when you put it on your hair but never leaves it greasy even after a few day. I love this conditioner along with the shampoo I won't use anything else now. They are a little pricey but as you only need a tiny bit even for long hair it lasts ages.

I really notice a difference!

I have tried out lots of brands and this is the first one that I actually noticed a difference in the appearance and texture of my hair. I live in a cold, dry climate and have frizzy, curly, color treated hair. My hair is always frizzy and curly after air drying and the Hydrate shampoo and conditioner tames the frizz and makes the curls prettier. After straightening, it’s sleek and looks much more moisturized! I’m sold!

Made my hair so dry!!

I bought this product as well as their wash because I wanted hydration in my hair and this product left it worse than when it started. I use this 2x a week, on my wavy thick hair and it has done nothing but make my hair even more dry and coarse. My hair usually feels soft and now it's looking dull and dry. It feels dry as well. Now I have to spend extra $$ on a deep repair mask to fix the issue. had high hopes considering so many good reviews and I have tried their repair me set and it worked so well with me but not this one. Don't recommend.
