I didn't experience any lag or dropouts during my usage, which is essential for a smooth workflow. The keyboard is comfortable to type on, with well-spaced keys that offer a satisfying tactile response. It's not a mechanical keyboard, but it still provides a pleasant typing experience. The full-size layout, complete with a numeric keypad, is a definite plus, especially if you do a lot of number input. The keyboard's low-profile design is also a space-saver, making it ideal for compact workspaces. The mouse is a basic but functional optical mouse. It fits comfortably in the hand and offers reliable tracking. While it doesn't have extra buttons or advanced features, it gets the job done for everyday tasks. The combo is plug-and-play, so you can simply insert the USB receiver, and both the keyboard and mouse will be recognized by your computer without the need for additional software or drivers.Battery life is impressive. The keyboard and mouse are energy-efficient and can last for months on a single set of batteries. This is a great feature, as it means you won't have to constantly worry about changing or recharging batteries. One minor drawback is the build quality, which feels a bit plasticky. However, considering the budget-friendly price point, it's a reasonable compromise.Overall, the Logitech MK270 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo is an excellent value for its cost. It's a reliable choice for everyday use, whether working, browsing the web, or handling typical computer tasks. While it may lack advanced features, it excels in providing a straightforward and hassle-free wireless keyboard and mouse solution. I recommend this combo to anyone in need of an affordable and dependable input device setup.

Now, about my return: The keyboard showed no sign of life when I tried to turn it on to pair it, and the Logitech software couldn't find it. It came with batteries so I tried changing them; that didn't help. I think with this one I just got a dud. It will be going back on the my next trip.

This is as bad as one I got from Amazon. It was a cute one with a bad calculator. I went through 2 of those and the calculator worked once each board. So, I figure get a good one from Walmart. I owned a Logitech for many years with a bad keyboard after a few years but I kept it until recently. This new keyboard is as bad as the Amazon ones both of which were returned. What is going on that the calculator on it stops after only a few times? It's not working and I am still within my return window. If it cannot be resolved, I will return it and buy another brand if it doesn't kick in soon and perform.

I have purchased three of these keyboard and mouse combinations, and am typing this review on the keyboard now! The wireless connection is excellent, and I haven't experienced significant loss of signal or lag within 8ft of my computer or laptop. I prefer the separate keyboard and mouse to the keyboard and pad on my laptop when at home or at my desk at work. I have used two mice on two separate computers, side-by-side, without any signal interference. I like the positive feel and full size of the keyboard. The price is fantastic for fully functional keyboard and mouse. The only complaint I have is that the batteries need to be changed every month or so. Also, an indicator light for number and caps lock would be nice, but that would probably raise the cost. I would highly recommend this keyboard and mouse combo!PS-The only reason for purchasing the third one was I broke the rule about not having a drink near your computer. The keyboard continued to work for about a week before losing to many keys to be effective, and I had to get a replacement. But, I haven't had one "wear out" because of use, yet.

The mouse is great. The last two Logitech mice I had were anything but that. I've dropped this one a hardwood floor many times, 7or 8, and it keeps on ticking. Works well. That keyboard has me on the verge of pulling my hair out though. I normally type at 35 wpm or so. Since I've had this keyboard from the bowels of Hades the most used key has been the backspace to remove typos. If I type any faster than 10 wpm it throws multiple duplicate letters into the mix so that 'horse' winds up as 'hooorsse' when this treasure is done thinking for me.I wish I could get paid for all the hours I have spent on the web trying to correct what is really not correctable. Please don't offer suggestions. (I don't know if Walmart allows other customers to reply to reviews.) There are ... MoreThe mouse is great. The last two Logitech mice I had were anything but that. For the price it does the job. Obviously takes a bit of getting used to after migrating from a different feeling keyboard but the action is deep and positive. Mouse is standard Logitech. I had previously used a more expensive version but this will likely last as long. The length of time it takes to spill coffee over it. Overall all good. Really just here to make a big point to those who have had problems with intermittent operation. This is very likely to be a problem with where you have plugged the reciever in especially on a desktop computer. If the USB port you use is sheilded by the case, a big lump of metal, then the connection to the keyboard and mouse will be compromised. If it is around the back then it is likely not to work. If it is on the top or the opposite side of the case you might get better results but could still have problems. The best solution, kludge, is to buy a separate female to male USB cable long enough to allow you to position the reciever such that it has line of sight to the keyboard and mouse. Picture shows a short War of The Worlds, solution. HTH
Not a good product. It will work fine for very short periods but then stops working well throughout the day. I'll type and there's an unacceptable delay from the keyboard and the mouse will delay then jump around. Or if I want to highlight something specific, the mouse will jump around to everywhere but where I want to click. If I have to have the wireless keyboard literally on top of my laptop keyboard, what's the point? I want the keyboard under the monitor, the dongle in the laptop is not far at all and I can hardly get the keyboard any closer to the dongle without being on top of the keyboard. The mouse should not have to be immediately next to the dongle to work either. I have a nicer logitech mouse and keyboard I use at home, and never have these issues. This ... MoreNot a good product. It's a hardworking keyboard and mouse considering! I assume most people will be using this at their desktop or laptop, but I needed mine to use to it's MAXIMUM limit! I'm using mine from about 20 feet away from my pc and it works! The only caveat is that the signal can't go through walls or around corners, so if you need to use it similar to me, you should try to make sure you are at least at a straight angle from the usb dongle. My set up is a little bit iffy sometimes, but not too bad. I suppose if I were to do it all over again, I would get a Bluetooth one because I have devices that definitely go through walls that I'm currently using. But serious, it DOES work well. I've written over 10k words on this thing with no frustration. I got only slight frustration ... MoreIt's a hardworking keyboard and mouse considering! I got only slight frustration when playing the Sims and sometimes the pause button doesn't register because I've got the keyboard on my lap on a couch and have to make sure my keyboard is not obstructed from its "view" of the dongle. I do very much recommend this! It's absolutely perfect for the price! If you hook it up for the first time from a long distance away and it doesn't appear to be working well, just mess with the angles and give it some time. Mine looked like a no-go at first but after figuring out the wall thing and trying again it's 99% perfect now.
The most convenient aspect of this product is the fact that both the keyboard and mouse only required the use of one USB slot instead of two. One inconvenient aspect is the fact that the keyboard requires AAA batteries while the mouse requires AA batteries. However, I would say that this seems to be the standard with all wireless products, so it is not such a negative so as to deduct a star. On the same vein, I use this product every single day, for hours, and I may only need to change the batteries once every two months at most. I also play videogames with it, so I can attest to how sturdy the keys are at taking high impact taps.
