Awesome addition to my day up. Only negative feedback is i wishbone came in thing battery kit. I ended up having to swap out the 25A one and purchase this separately but other than that awesome quality

Purchased this DCDC charger with the hopes that i could integrate it on my Kickass battery box, unfortunately upon receiving the unit i found out that it can't be integrated as per the customer service the wires of this DCDC charger is located at the back of the unit if bought separately, and those battery box with integrated DCDC charger the wires are in the bottom. Buying a DCDC charger and battery box is not recommended as you have to do some modification if you wanted to attach it on their battery box.

For me it's never worked consistentAlways dropped out never consistent state of chargeBattery indicater type blinked all the time.When connect to solar.State of charge light hardly came on.My battery would go flat as the controler would just blink and never go into a state of charge.The support team told me don't expect much as it's not working that we'll on solar input.

I had a technical issue with my 40 dc/dc charger. I dropped into kunda park store and told them what I had done and checked. Technician craig came out to the car and confirmed the results. He completed the necessary repar on the spot and i was on my way. Everything working and happy as. Thanks guys.
I had a 25 amp Projecta dcdc charger with a 170 a/h agm battery with solar connected for about 6 years. It worked well. I added an extra 170a/h battery, upgraded to the kickass 40amp dcdc plus solar and it works even better. I like how you can see what stage of charging the battery is in, really helpful to know when batteries are full. Easy install.

I have had 3 dcdc chargers 2 no longer work ,would not go any where else love my 40amp charger from kick ass make sure to use there battery set up aswell talk to these guys and get the Best setup.
Have yet to install but looks good quality and vill be super easy to install. Might be an idea for Kickass to look at custom length cables
I love all the kickass gear.My only regret is when I told the guys at the store I was eventually going to put in a 40 amp dcdc charger, they didn’t tell me I needed the heavy duty cable kit and they sold me the normal 3 core wire kit In which I installed until I could buy the 40amp dcdc. It went on special so I swooped. When I went to pick it up they informed me it needed the heavy duty cable kit. Now I have to remove the smaller wire kit to run the 40 amp dcdc. Only wished they told me about the heavy duty wire kit in the first place. Big hassle and a lot more expense. Other than that the wire kit is really user or self installer friendly.
