I currently don't have a shed or many tools so I purchased this for my car as it claims to have everything included and should be super easy to install. Using only a multitool, test lamp and a headtorch I installed this within 3 days of mucking around. The end product looks very neat and the actual charger works amazingly on my second battery.

Procrastinated for some time and looked at many options before pulling the trigger but very happy with my choice so far. It all went together very easy. Haven’t used in anger yet but a couple of tests indicate it should all be good. I have 2 of the kick ass extension cables and the quality of those helped my decision.

I purchased this to power my camping requirements a fridge and some LED lights.I coupled it with a 140ah lithium battery the plug and play aspect was what I was after KISS Principle (Keep it simple stupid) I have a Mitsubishi Pajero NX I removed the 3rd row seat which left a casam to install the battery. Due to the recent inclement weather I have been unable to test the solar input but will do as soon as the weather clears up. a recent trip to Moreton Island the system worked flawlesly.I am very happy with the project so far.Peter Lotrd

Very happy with this product have installed it in my camper trailer along with running a Dual battery cable from Australian Direct. So I'm now running from my car battery and solar panels. Very happy with the products from Australian Direct and with the fast delivery times. Now for 2 120 aH batterysto go along side the install.👍🤠
Great product easy installation with great instruction videos. Love the pre-wired plugs.We went away for nine days with our van where we had mix weather with most days lots of rain, cloud and sometimes sun.This charger was able to keep our lithium fully charged no matter what the weather through at us on our trip.To my surprise the battery was still getting a healthy charge in overcast conditions and not once did think I need to use the generator as battery Wass fully charged each day.5 stars from me.
Just returned from our second trip with the DC to DC CHARGER installed in our caravan. Installation before we left was super quick with the plug and play option. Charger was able to keep us powered on both trips and performed exceptionally well while connected to the car and also while on solar. Thanks again to the kickass team.!!🤙🏼🤙🏼
Good charger - it worked great on our trip to darwin and kept our camper battery entirely changed with 3 fridges running. The only issue I had was that my solar panels were putting out 24V (they are rated at 21.6V) which caused an error but this wasn't much of an issue as I left the panels with our camper and separate regulator most of our trip anyway.Its a good sealed unit and didn't have any issues with the dust either
I spent all that money and haven’t been able to use it I had to buy a cheap shit kings one to get it working as we let to go campingI had watched your videos on how to connect and watched also other videos that people put up on U tubeI can’t work out why it’s not working and am so disappointed can the unit be faulty
Great unit of you only want to use as DC charger. Had issues with using solar Input as the inbuilt regulator can't handle much so keeps throwing errors with both my unregulated panels going in so cannot use with Solar input. Fairly disappointed to be honest.
The wiring kit was great. Didn’t have to go all nerd and wire everything uo it’s Al ready done. Just plug and play.Second battery stays charge no more stress the beer fridge will stop. I’m excited thank you
