This is a really good subwoofer if you have an SUV and you don't want to use up all of your space with amps and speaker boxes everywhere. This is not competition stereo stuff but for the average person who wants to feel their music not just hear it. This will more than do that job. It's a great subwoofer.

My New Sub and Speakers sound Phenomenal! And I also had a Remote Start Installed as well, Works like a Charm! No more Gettin into an Ice Cold Car this Winter. The Tech who Installed it all was Equally Phenomenal. He's Definitely Very Good at what He does. It was Every bit Professionally done. I couldn't have been Happier when I saw his work. It was So Neatly done, No wires showing at all Everything was Perfect! And It Sounds Amazing! Superbly Done. Thank You So Much. You Totally made My 4th of July. All the Installation Techs at the N Dartmouth Location are All Fully Knowledgeable about Car Audio & the Installation was Neat & Clean. I would go anywhere else. Excellent Job! Thanks Again Guys. Keep up the Great Work.

Upgraded from a 10" Comp C loaded enclosure to the Comp R and I was not disappointed. The lows were amazing, this speaker hits hard paired with the Kicker CX 800 amp. Mind rattling bass! Unfortunately I'm not able to give it 5 stars since it fried after about 6wks with occasional heavy use. Not sure if its the amp pushing too much power but my gains were only turned up 1/4. But I'm upgrading to the Kicker L7s Solo-Baric 12" which supposedly pairs perfectly with the CX 800. Either way the Comp R was a hard hitting sub matched with the right amp.

Bought this for my girlfriend late November she was excited. Finally after moving after the holidays it was time to install. Hooked everything up and nothing not one sound completely dead. No big deal will return to store and swap for another. Go to the local BestBuy where I purchased it and nope won't take it back. Was 2 days past special Christmas return date. Store refused to do anything for me. Overall disappointed with everything.
Extraordinary Subwoofer on its own. Great depth of sound and decent punch with the right amp of course. Very reliable and versatile as i had it hooked up to three different amps. Not at the same time obviously. I can only imagine what two of them would sound like. And im soon to find out because i love it so much as well as its price point that i am buying another soon and a box for the both of them. Wish me luck!
I just love this. The quality of it and loudness. I play metal, hardcore and punk. This is just a great speaker and the kick i needed the music to be. When it gets loud it gets loud!
Tad big for the truck i had to lay it on its back. Im gna try to look at it tomm. Running the sub with a kenwood X502-1 excelon monoblock amp 1000w peak - 2ohm 500rms 1 channel. I also have an audio control LC-6 1200w 6 channel amp rocking my JBL 2 6x9 639s and 2 JBL 6.5 GTO629 series 2 way. My after market radio is a Kenwood Excelon DMX1057XR receiver. It sounds waaaaay better than the 10inch kicker comp C i had 300rms max 600w. I just installed it and currently breaking it in. Ill update in two weeks.
There installation of speakers and amp in my 2000 Mercedes s430 was a disaster. They broke my door i can't open it. Than i bring back my car the next day. Because the team doesn't know how to install amp. Keep turning off. So i drop off my car. I come back they crack my window. This whole experience was awful. Now there giving me a hard time about fixing my car giving me the run around. I don't recommend best buy for installation
I'm not using this in a typical vehicle setup, but actually in a shop-type setup along with other components. This 12" Kicker CompR loaded in a vented enclosure is a BEAST. It's been pushing 500 watts RMS from a Kenwood mono-amp for months without a hitch. I use it almost daily and enjoy every bit of it. The box is quite hefty, as it should be, and if you can fit it where you need it, for the price it is a great value!
So I think me and the gentleman that assisted me wasn't so much on the right page about what I wanted. I said I was wanting something that beats hard in my car. I said I wanted "king Kong in the trunk". So he pulled this sub out for me and the amp and said I would be happy with it. Well I can't get kingkong to come out of my trunk. I wasn't to impressed. I mean the sub is fine and all but,Not exactly what I asked for
