Such a great quality suit. One of the flatlock seams at the neck was pretty rough and raised and was causing rashing/rawness. I know that's common but we've had to trim it down a few times to get it smooth(er). Our son is 6 (and 3/4) and relatively narrow...the size 6 fits on him perfectly, but won't for long! I wish they made a 7, because I do believe the 8 would be too big.

Perfect for summer. Good price. The short wetsuits are so user friendly for kids. They can generally get in and out of them by themselves.Service was excellent. Had delivery within two days. Would definitely buy from Surfdock again.
The suit itself is great. Heavier than what I was expecting. Wondering if there is one that is lighter weight. It seemed small. I ordered a 10 probably shouldâve gotten a 12. Olivia does not like the tight neck. Not sure that she would even keep it on long enough to be in the water. We have used Oâneil wetsuits in the past and love them. Sheâs outgrown her other one and itâs much lighter weight than this and I think she prefers that.
Bought this for my 13 year old son. He's 5'6" and 105 lbs. I bought a size 16. Its a tad big on him, but still wearable and he has a little bit of room to grow for next summer. He's happy with it. Provides just the right amount of added warmth in the fall and spring in Colorado!
Sadly I couldn't begin to try this on as it arrived in a youth size. But I was able to discern that it is well made and good value. As always, the free return with my Altitude Sports membership was hassle free. I get enough great service from the company that I cannot begrudge them a human error.
Moved up from Size 8 to 10 for my 10 year old son. Keeps him nice and warm in the pool at UofT during his lessons. No limitations in arm or leg movement.
This is a good value considering that my son is growing quickly and will likely need another one next year. I will consider buying this again when the time comes.
It was bought for my 10 year old son Christopher with the intention of growing into it by next yearâs cold season. So itâs not as snug now but it wonât be long and so far itâs worked out great, he loves it. We decided on the spring suit not knowing that the recent cold weather would drop the temperatures from 68 degrees to 55 so a full suit might be in his near future. Thatâs him using it on my SUP as soon as it was received. Mucho Mahalos
