Kiehl's Amino Acid Conditioner 500ml/16.9oz

I can't say enough good things about Beauty Affairs. I've been a loyal customer now for about three years and can't fault their delivery - it feels like I get VIP Express Post when I just make a regular order. I (now) do a lot of online shopping across the board (clothes, shoes, beauty, etc.) and Beauty Affairs stand out from every other vendor I have shopped with throughout COVID as fast, reliable, and essentially flawless in their supply chain when even the previously-good-ones have slowly fallen victim throughout 2021 to COVID disruptions and delays. Whatever they're doing, it works! I will only shop elsewhere for beauty, cosmetics, and perfume on the odd occasion they don't stock a brand I want, but apart from that, I say: MECCA, who? Sephora, what? ^.^

Amino Acid Shampoo/Conditioner

It is great! One of the best shampoo/conditioner, and I have tried a few name brand ones.It moisturizes my hair, without feeling greasy or heavy. Feels light and clean.If you shampoo/condition your hair daily, like I do, use it alternately with your current product, and you will really feel the difference. Highly recommended to my friends and family.

Hairline Acne Anyone?

This is a very emollient conditioner -- the tiniest bit will overwhelm you. It has a slightly overpowering coconut smell. I had no qualms with it until after a week of using it & the accompanying shampoo & Amino Acid Scalp Treatment I broke out in nasty hairline acne!!!!! At my age!! If you think acne is intolerable when you are 16, wait until you are 60 & see how you feel about it!! These products were the only new things I had introduced into my routine so I know they are the culprit. I promptly returned ALL these Kiehl's Amino Acid products & would like to thank Nordstorm's for being so generous about their return policy!!

Healthier Hair

I waited awhile to do this review, I wanted to see how my hair responded to using Kiehl's Since 1851 Amino Acid Shampoo and Conditioner. I have been using it for 5 months now and I am impressed. I have always been "cheap" when it has come to shampoo and conditioner, but I was having a lot of issues with my hair. My volume was flat, my natural waves always seemed limp, and the worst part was that every time I brushed or washed my hair I was pulling out clumps. I switched to Kiehl's and it is like night and day. My natural waves are back, my hair is growing back in areas where my hair was thinning, my hair isn't falling out by the bunches anymore and my hair is soft and has volume again. If, like me, you've tried hundreds of different hair conditioners over the years, but found them unsatisfactory, for various reasons, and don't seem to do anything, I would definitely recommend this one.My hair is very long. This conditioner leaves my hair tangle free and easy to comb after washing and doesn't require any additional products. My hair is really shiny with loads of body and doesn't need constant brushing. I'll be trying the shampoo when my current one runs out.While I'm here, I would also recommend Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado. It adds the right amount of moisture without being too greasy and makes a perfect base for eye makeup.

Kiehl's Rewards Program

Honestly I'm not a fan of Kiehl's products since finding out that all the reward points issued to you zero out on your annual anniversary. That means that if you make a purchase the day before your rewards anniversary, you lose your points the very next day. I know. That's hard to believe since absolutely no other rewards program works that way! One must stretch really hard to conceive of a reason that any company would want to enrage their loyal customers that way, after spending so much money on marketing to attract them. Zero sense Kiehl's. Try harder to make us happy and I might reconsider posting a nicer review of your product. For now you score an F in customer relations.

Kiehls hair products are top quality!

Kiehl's hair products, such as conditioner and shampoo are high quality products.My hair looks better, "behaves" better, and looks shiny and healthy. These products costs more, but are worth the results with regular use.I have very fine hair, I get more compliments about my hair when using Kiehl's products.G.L regular senior shopper

Shiny, manageable hair

I received both the shampoo and conditioner in my Kiehl's advent calendar. My hair is long, wavy, fairly course and quite damaged due to repeated bleaching - I have my hair tinted pastel pink and to keep the pale color I have to have monthly bleach/maintenance.I have tried a lot of different hair products and I have a hard time finding shampoo/conditioner that leaves my hair feeling soft and manageable. The Kiehl's products worked well for me. The conditioner left my hair shiny, not crunchy and my hair didn't feel greasy or weighed down. Didn't need to use a spray-in detangler with this as the conditioner kept the tangles in-check. Maybe try one of the smaller sizes to see if it works for you.

Wanted To Like But

I can honestly say the chance of my being disappointed by a Kiehls product is slim, but call me disappointed here. The ability of this product to condition hair is non existent. My hair is non treated, thin strands but very thick. Ater using, I was left dry and brittle which is not what one wants in a conditioner. Reformulate this product Kiehls and I will be happy to give youa second chance.

Straight hair - olive fruit (could even get away without conditioner - here’s free money saving trick) ; curly or relaxed or “permed, bleached, and relaxed” (this was my hair), you really need this coconut line for your slightly wavy or very curly hair. And don’t save money, get this conditioner. A few years into using Kiehl’ so I got a bit too too adventurous with my hair experiment. I didn’t use it when I got it bleached permed and relaxed (there’s too much drama involved ) but my hair is now coming back to life a couple weeks back on them.
