Kiehl's Super Multi-Corrective Eye Zone Treatment 14ml

I’ve been using eye creams for a long time and still haven’t really found the holy grail. Most of them don’t really do much or they are targeted on one problem only. So far I have been recently the most impressed by Dr. Sturm eye cream. Kiehls specifically has always been “it could be a little bit better” kind of brand so I am very impressed I have found the best eye cream so far from them! I enjoy the texture which is thick but silky. Most importantly you will see results in matter of days! It works! It not only hydrates well but is brightens and most importantly helps with fine lines. I still want to try some eye creams from Lancome since I have been having good results with them but I will make sure to come back to this because it truly makes a big difference.

A Solid Eye Cream But Won't Repurchase

I've used this for about a month and a half and have definitely noticed some positive changes. I think it is effective at reducing the appearance of fine lines, minimizing eyelid crinkles and absorbs quickly. It really dissappears into your skin and doesn't leave any residue so it works under makeup. I am very pleased that I can use it from eyebrow to cheeks without any milia issues. I do wish it was a tad more hydrating and brightening though. I have pronounced lower lids and it is easier for me to treat the dark circles than it is to conceal them. I also must note that I do not like the fermented scent of this, I'm not usually picky but it is a pungent scent. It's not my holy grail but it is a solid option that provides more bang than 95% of eye creams out there.

Allergic reaction

I bought this eye cream since I like a few products from KIEHL’S, however I had to stop using it. After about 2-3 days of using it I have developed a rash around my eyes… the area around my eyes had a few red patches, eyelids were slightly swollen and they were burning and itching… it was bad, that I had to get a prescription medication for it. It took about 3-4 days for this reaction to disappear. I stopped using All face products for about two weeks except one of my regular cream which I have been using for years. Tried this eye cream again, and the very next day - the same reaction, even red patches appear in the same spots. Unfortunately, this product was a disappointment, even more so since it was not cheap!

Best Eye Cream I've Ever Used

This eye cream is absolutely fabulous. I'm in my early 50s & have horrible allergies. The two things together mean I have a large set of luggage under my eyes. I was hesitant to purchase this product where the price was a little high for such a small amount, but the majority of the previous reviews I read prompted me to give it a try. It's mad an incredible difference in both the color & the puffiness of the bags under my eyes. The circles are significantly lighter & nowhere near as puffy after using this product.The difference was noticed by my husband after only a week & a half. Burning Eyelids, Swollen Shut and now Flaking

My eyelids and under my eyes became flakey, dry and burned/itched. I wasn't sure it was the eye cream, so I stopped using it for over a month and allowed my skin to heal. On Thursday, I tried the eye cream again. By evening, my eyelids burned horribly. When I woke on Friday, my left eyelid was swollen shut and my right eyelid was puffy. I had to ice my eyes, and it affected my vision so badly that I couldn't drive all day. It's now Saturday, and my eyelids started flaking, they burn uncomfortably, and they are still puffy. This stuff was poison to my face! I will never buy it again, and honestly don't know if I should ever use kiehls again. I doubt I can get refunded.

Burns eye area & lids - be cautious! Disappointed

I really tried to give this product a chance. 5+ weeks before I decided to review. Being a women in my early 30s I wanted to start using something regularly. I tried using twice a day. Morning and night. At first my eyes were a little irritated. I just thought it was bc of allergy season and kept using it. But I noticed it burns my eyes, irritates and burns my skin underneath my eyes and my eye lids. It doesn’t start irritating my skin/eyes until about 3-5 minutes after use. I tried using the tiniest amount To see if that helped and then to only once a day, it didn’t. I tried using 15 mins after washing my face to see if that helped, it hasn’t. I actually ended up going to the eye doctor bc I didn’t realize it was from this product. Great Eye Cream and Great Deal

I love the way this eye cream feels on the skin. Rich but not oily, moisturizing but not heavy. It's so comfortable on the skin that even my husband likes using it (and he's rather picky, with sensitive skin). I can't put my finger on what exactly it is that it's done for my 56 year old eyes but they look brighter and younger. It also plays well with my eye serum and makeup so it's a definite win for me. This set is also a no-brainer, it's a ton of product. Plus, I love having the smaller one for travel.

Nice Eye Cream With A Heavier Gel Texture

This is a very interesting eye cream and the largest gripe I have about it (which isn't a big one) is that I don't consider it to be a "lightweight" gel texture as described. When I think of a lightweight gel, I think of a water cream like texture that doesn't have much occlusivity. This product carries far more weight to it and while its no where near as thick as Vaseline, it feels closer to that than the water cream texture I was envisioning (probably should have seen this coming given how high dimethicone is in the ingredients). I'd compare its texture to the Elemis eye mask. First although this is a thicker gel texture it melts right into the skin when using a small amount. It also, as described, does not appear to migrate into other areas once applied making it safer for people with sensitive eyes to apply to the area above the eye. I also like that the ingredients deck contains several active ingredients including niacinamide, peptides, caffeine and HA. While not as potent as something like retinol, these are actives I think most people will be able to tolerate well in the eye area that should improve appearance. One other note is that although Alcohol Denat is relatively high in the ingredients deck I did not find the product drying and with Glycerin/HA in the deck I doubt it will be much of an issue unless you're particularly sensitive. There was also no noticeable sent.

Not bad...But could be Better!

Great formula for lifting skin in eye area. Goes on smooth, no greasiness. But buyer beware - unless your willing to use this twice a day, then don't purchase. Get the Murad eye resculpting treatment in the green jar - use once a day at bedtime (also contains retinal). I strongly suggest this Kiehls eye cream, should NOT be used under makeup because it will enhance the pigments in your makeup in a very unflattering way. Ultimately, I returned mine and as mentioned switched to the Murad for convenience and for the additional retinal ingredient. I am 41 years of age and fabulous.

Why doesn't Kiehls seal their products?!

I had used this eye cream once before, it was quite a while back and I couldn't remember how it was packaged.I recently reordered it off Sephora's website and was shocked when it arrived because it had no box, not even a seal or sticker to prove it hadn't been tampered with. it was just tossed in my box like it belonged in a bargain bin. literally everything else I ordered had some sort of protective seal. I want to be sure my product has not been touched or messed with, especially when it comes with an $80 price tag! I really like this eye cream but I feel unsafe using it and will be returning it and buying a dupe that's in a sealed package. I do not recommend it to anybody who has any trust issues or problems with your online products being shipped to you without so much as a box for the product. unreal!
