Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Overnight Hydrating Masque - 125ml

Now that winter is TRULY here, I've been on the hunt for a decent sleeping mask to hydrate and get my skin back to normal. I can't use anything too rich in the daytime as that means foundation will end up oxidizing as my skin can get quite oily. Kiehl's are quite good with giving samples, so whilst stocking up on their deodorant (which I love) recently, I asked if I could try this. Unfortunately I just can't get past the consistency - it's very thick, almost like petroleum jelly and just sits on the surface of my skin. I'm used to sleeping on my side but once this is on I just dare not as it will end up all over my pillowcase. Have also tried using a really tiny amount but awoke to dry patches/flakiness which means it wasn't enough, yet any more is too much. This is a review for: Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Overnight Hydrating Face Mask with 10.5% Squalane. I couldn’t find the exact product on Influenster. I received this as a sample with a recent #Sephora purchase and I am obsessed. If you want to level up on your #slugging game, this is a must have! This overnight “mask” is a very thick balm that, once applied to your skin, begins to melt, sink in, and work it’s magic. I wake up in the morning and, voila! Plump hydrated dewy skin ☺️. The directions say you can wipe the mask off after 20-30 minutes but I probably won’t try that. Unlike slugging with aquaphor or vasaline, this product doesn’t leave an ultra sticky goo that gets all over your pillowcase or on your hair. I really enjoyed this! Surprisingly, this is the first Kiehl's product I've purchased and tried. My skin was feeling a little more tight and dry than normal, so I purchased this on a whim at Sephora. I applied this as the last step of my skincare routine. It has a thicker consistency initially but spreads easily once it comes into contact with the warmth of your skin. It definitely didn't sink all the way into my skin, but when I woke up my skin felt so plump and hydrated and remained that way after I cleansed my face in the morning. I do have to take care to not sleep on my face at all while sleeping otherwise this will come off on my pillow. I received the Kiehl’s ultra facial overnight rehydrating moisturizer absolutely free from #bzzagent for my honest review. I have tried hundreds of moisturizers and I have never tried anything like this before. The packaging is brilliant and the consistency Is very thick. A little bit goes a very long way. I really enjoy Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Overnight Mask. First of all, I love that it is a clean product, fragrance free, and no parabens. This mask is thick and balm like in texture but turns into oil like consistency when spreading. I have been using as directed at night for 3x per week. It is a hydrating treat for dehydration winter skin. Skin feels smoother in the morning and moisturized. I like this better than other overnight masks that I have tried with fragrances. I also feel like it is more hydrating than others. The benefits to this mask is to treat flaky dry skin all while you sleep. I would definitely buy this and recommend this to others.

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturizer is a stable in my skincare regimen for my dry skin. It's impressively lightweight, yet it keeps my skin beautifully hydrated all day long. I love how quickly it absorbs without any irritation. In my experience, it's quite comparable to Clinique's Moisturizer. If you have dry skin, this is definitely worth trying for a daily moisturizer that delivers both hydration and comfort.

Fantastic night moisturiser, great for cold weather

I’ve been experiencing some very dry skin due to the cold weather in Canberra (almost eczema like, with red, puffy, dry and flaky skin). I purchased this on a recommendation from a friend and have used every night for about 3 weeks.I LOVE this product. As a gel based cream, it doesn’t feel too heavy on the skin but instantly feels very moisturising. I was concerned I might break out but haven’t experienced any issues whatsoever. There isn’t a strong smell and a little goes a long way – I think I can easily get a years worth out of this tub (125mL size). After the first use I already felt like my skin was so much softer and more supple – would definitely recommend this. Even though this isn’t as occlusive as I thought it would be (I was imagining more of a Vaseline type consistency - this is actually a lot lighter), this is definitely very moisturising. If you’re trying to decide between products, definitely try this one because it actually works.
