Kinetic Sand Beach Sand Kingdom Playset with 3lbs of Beach Sand, For Ages 3 and Up

Fun toy for children to make endless sandcastles. Down side it can get everywhere is why I took a star away. It never drys out and last years. We buy it every time there is a new product. Perfect learning toy for finger strength exercises.

If you have a little one, or you're a lil one at heart, kinetic sand is perfect! It's 98% sand and 2% magic 🪄 I bought for my 4 year old and he absolutely loves it! You can mold it, shape it, do just about anything you can do with playdough, but without it drying out. And when they mix all the colors together (you know they will), it doesn't turn into a poop brown color. I highly recommend this if you or your child love playdough. #kineticsand #playset #playtime #sand #imagination #artsandcrafts #crafttime

Best sensory based play

This is a favorite in our house. My 3 year old will make towers, use play dough cut outs in it, drive cars in it, push his sticks in it, etc. As an occupational therapist, I love that it is providing a sensory rich experience as well as strengthening little hands when rolling and squeezing it. Also such an easy clean up as it sticks to itself but nothing else. 10/10 recommend .

Educational game with kinetic sand

Kinetic Sand is a completely new and progressive type of educational game. If your child likes to mess around on the beach with wet sand, then the living kinetic sand is created specifically for you! Sand is packed in a plastic bag and sealed in a cardboard box, also molds for building a castle are included in the kit. Kinetic sand resembles moist sea sand in appearance and properties, but due to special safe additives, it will never dry out and lose its properties. The sand itself has no smell, it is absolutely safe and very convenient to use. It is nice to hold in your hands. It is neither sticky nor wet and, no less important, it does not stain hands. Not cold and not slippery. Sand, which is important, has no smell. In a friable state, it runs away through ... MoreKinetic Sand is a completely new and progressive type of educational game. In a friable state, it runs away through fingers, giving pleasant sensations and a feeling of returning to childhood. playing with kinetic sand is, first of all, the development of fine motor skills of hands and tactile sensations. From sand you can cook, build sandcastles, you can draw on the sand, you can write, you can sculpt numbers from the sand and so on. My 5 years son like to play with it.

Fun “Quarantine” Activity

Overall, a fun thing to have in your back pocket on a rainy day in 2020 lock down. The price is a bit high for what it is- I think $15 (instead of $20) would be fair. If I hadn’t been in need of crafts and activities pronto I would have waited till it was on sale. I love that it’s reusable and we also repurposed the cute tiny tools for gardening seeds outside in soil (different activity). Tools are smaller than expected, but work well for the amount of sand. The box container is a bit of a pain, I had to use a stapler to reinforce it and the “c” flaps bent soft on first use so the “beach background” flap kept collapsing inwards. I’ll probably use a different container for future play. The kinetic sand itself is great- good texture, holds its shape for a long enough ... MoreOverall, a fun thing to have in your back pocket on a rainy day in 2020 lock down. The kinetic sand itself is great- good texture, holds its shape for a long enough to build (does slowly collapse/melt tho) and most importantly EASY CLEANUP. Love that I can use it indoors with a supervised toddler. Wish it came with a resealable bag for the sand. We ended up using a quart size ziplock bag. Overall good purchase for us.

Great stuff!

This kinetic sand is much better than all the other brands I have used. The color doesn’t fade or bleed off onto hands or other surfaces. It holds together really well for good play. I was very happy with this purchase and bought another box.

Kinetic sand=awesome Walmart=do better

For gifts, Walmart shipping has become a frustration. I don’t want to give smashed gifts. Makes the benefit of the ease of online ordering and delivery a nonissue. Your stuff comes smashed and gross or used looking. Kinetic sand: awesome job. Walmart: do better.

My sons favorite toy

My 4 year old loves this kind. He has been playing with it since he was about 2. It started out as a hit from day one and there is not a day that goes by that he doesnt play with it. It does get really sticky if not covered durring times of high humidity and because he uses it so often i have had to replace multiple times because ewww i can just imagibe what is in it but it is so worth it! I actually started buying several bags and filling the bottom of an under the bed container so he can use it as an indoor sandbox with his trucks and construction sets. Very easy cleanup.... can even pick up off floor with ease. Love the beach sand like texture which you only get from this type... the colors feel more like weird powder and flake a bit. Hated the rock version as ... MoreMy 4 year old loves this kind. He has been playing with it since he was about 2. Hated the rock version as they didnt stick together well but stuck to body and clothes so little rocks were everywhere and scratched floor and table. By far this is the best pirchase i ever made and well worth every cent!

Not kid friendly

I was disappointed in this item. The cardboard was cheap and didn’t stay in place. The sand was hard which made it difficult to play with. My kids didn’t like it at all. I should of returned it.

So much fun for toddlers - adults!

This is the BEACH SAND so it’s grittier than other kinetic sand types (as it should be but some aren’t aware it’s different) but it holds shape wonderfully and is so much fun for my toddler and me to play with. He will play for hours of the day with this if we let him. We love the tools! They’re fun to build with, release the form easily, and seem very sturdy. Would definitely purchase again to add to our set.
