So far so good! Got this memory card for a Sony RX100 mk4, and it works just as advertised. Since it is a UHS-I /V3 class card, it can handle 4K recording at 100MBps without issues. I got the 128GB version of the card. Will update the review if the card has issues in a near future. So far, recommended if you need a decent brand-name SD card with good write speed.

SD cards vary in performance and lifetime. This brand seems reliable, the read write is reasonable and good value for money.Starting to use SD for a lot of work which previously stored on other media. You get what you pay for.

Pros: Great card loads of capacity for my photography...perfect....And you will struggle to get a better price and speedy deliveryVery pleased with this card.
I bought this specifically for high bandwidth video recoding on the original Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera (BMPCC) in CinemaDNG Raw at 1080P 30fps. Many cards only list the read speed up to xxxMB/s, but they don't tell you the write speed which is critical for raw video recording. This card is comparable in performance to the much more expensive Scandisk Extreme Pro 95MB/s SD cards. And I can confirm it works properly with the original BMPCC, which is very picky about which SD card it supports.I used Blackmagic Disk Speed Test on Macbook Pro to test the read and write speed of this particular card, and here are the results averaged over multiple runs:- Write speed: 83.6MB/s- Read speed: 89.0MB/sI shot video at 1080p30 Cinema DNG Raw in the BMPCC OG and ...Β MoreI bought this specifically for high bandwidth video recoding on the original Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera (BMPCC) in CinemaDNG Raw at 1080P 30fps. I plan to buy more of these cards for my longer video features.Overall a highly recommended product for these type of high bandwidth HD video needs.
No crashes even after the camera fell on the asphalt. Also, there are no failures during long-term storage of photos. Reading speed at 64 GB is 90 mb/s. Kingston card reader is also very good. Great memory card for a great price
I bought this SD card for a mod in a iRiver H320 and a iHP-120 and it works fine in these players without fail. The read and write speed is a lot slower as it's running inside these players. Please note this mod will not work with the original firmware on the 100 and 300 series players, it only works with Rockbox. You will also need a SD to CF adaptor and a 50 pin CF to IDE adaptor and for the card to be in FAT32 format for this mod to work.
You know, I've always considered Kingston to be the second tier SD card provider, but, they're getting better. I took a chance on these Select Plus cards for a special purpose. It's tough to find the right reader and computer to really tell what speeds a card can reach. I'm getting 90MB/s READ and 72MB/s WRITE on these with a Sony reader and a normal Dell desktop (USB3); impressive for how cheap they are. They have been in two Browning game cameras capturing wildlife, 24/7, at freezing temps, and have dozens of gigs of capture with not a problem. Probably be buying some more.
There is only one test in my view that will give an SD card provenance and that is put it through H2testW software to test it. The software is easily downloaded from the web and simple to use. This test will determine whether the product is genuine or not. I'm happy to report all my three Kingston SD cards came through the test with flying colours. I would recommend this product without hesitation.
These SD cards have been a good buy - I have lots of them and use them for mirrorless cameras and shoot mainly RAW photos and only a little video. For this use they have been reliable - unlike some alternative brands. I prefer to have a lot of 16-32GB cards and use one a day on my travels so as to reduce the risk of a damaged card destroying my travel photos. So far, the Kingston's have been 100% reliable; my SanDisks have failed once and my Imations have been the worst. So I now look for the Kingston brand 32GB as my SD of choice.
