I love this bag. It is perfect in every way. I love the many zip pockets, one for my sunglasses, one for my phone, the small side pocket for my car keys, and one for things like nail file, Kleenex, pill container, small perfume roller. And there are still two more pockets! I am retired so I mostly go out for errands or to eat and shop so I don’t need a large bag. Also love that it has a crossbody strap so I can be hands free while shopping. I have three of these bags, black, metallic gold,and a coral/pink . A great selection for different seasons and occasions. This is my all-around perfect bag. The print on the black bag is subtle and very classy looking.

I didn't think I would like this style nor color and only gave it a chance due to a sale (so, it was love-at-sale-price basically). Fortunately, this item (and the New Angie with the same color way) was available at a local Macy's that I was able to do an in-person inspection/comparison. The Gabbie S is (more) functional and looks better against my physique (compared to the New Angie). The Gabbie S also serves me better for daily use as it is lightweight and have a total of seven zip pockets ranging in sizes and placed in strategic locations. I purchased this along with the Kipling Abanu crossbody bag to see which one suited my needs best for travel and sightseeing. I needed a lightweight crossbody to carry my phone, wallet, water bottle, maps, toiletries, sunglasses, etc. Each was styled a differently, so I decided to keep them both! The Gabbie S is slightly larger with a plainer style than the Abanu, but it's still very compact and lightweight. It has a large main compartment, multiple pockets, and wonderful organization. I purchased it in the gray color so it can work for all seasons. Well made with sturdy zippers.

After some deliberation I decided to buy the Kipling Gabbie because it was a good size with many useful pockets. When looking for the bag I came across Aspen of Hereford and they offered a lot of choice. I eventually settled on the Urban Chevron colourway. The pricing was keen and the delivery quite speedy and without any problems. The bag and I have been on holiday where it was put through its paces and performed well. My iPad was kept safe because it fitted in the larger front zip pocket, and everything else was easily accessible. I only wish Kipling had kept the attachment strap for keys as this would make the bag perfect. I didn’t know Aspen of Hereford before but will certainly buy from them again.
I wanted a bag for flying and I think the medium size will fit in most airlines' definitions of a small handbag. There are lots of secure places to put passport, phone, money etc. Cosmic emerald is darker than it looks in all the pictures and has more of a business look than a holiday one, but I'm still using mine for holidays as I intended. I'm impressed that the zips and accessories are all a very good match for the main colour - that looks high quality. The bag arrived very promptly.
This bag is the ideal size for going away. I always look for external pockets as I like to have my phone in one and passports in the zipped back pocket. The Gabbie bag has lots of pockets and I am extremely happy with the overall design. I also like to wear my bags across the body and, again, the bag is ideal for that. It is well made and light in weight. I would certainly recommend it to those looking for a roomy bag with lots of storage. I would also recommend Aspen as a supplier. This is the first purchase that I have made from them and the bag arrived very quickly - before the due date which was nice. All in all a pleasant and stress-free shopping experience.
I loved a black Kipling bag I bought at Macy's probably 5 years ago. I used it just about every day and knocked it around plenty. Then the zipper broke. I looked for it again online, but didn't find a style that was as spacious and well organized. So I improvised and hoped I'd find it somehow somewhere. Well, it showed up recently in my email from Macy's and I scurried to buy it. It is in fact better than the bag I loved so much. It is very functional and enables me to keep what I need most days and sometimes add what I also need on a particular day. I love it! It has simplified my life.
Love this bag. Lots of pockets so great cross body bag to use on holiday or day out. It’s a casual bag but unfortunately does not look like the picture on the M&S website. The bag arrived with lots of creases on the front and back with the lower part of the back of the bag folded up so it fitted into the clear plastic bag. This has left it with a distinct fold line. I feel this is a fault with Kipplings packaging and not M&S.I also ordered this in red but same problem. The creases are more evident on the red so have returned it. Such a shame but will keep the navy bag.
Purchased for recent holiday. Lightweight and practical for organisation . Useful level of storage with many pockets. I was pleased with the appearance of the bag when new . Good quality sturdy zips but fabric puckered around zip area when bag became wet in rain and this has not restored to original appearance when dry. It did not arrive with the robot monkeyas described but a fabric one was attached instead .
The bag is the perfect size with plenty of pockets for everything! However, the fabric of the bag is wrinkly. It came folded, not stuffed with paper like most bags. So when I took it out of the box, the fabric of the bag was really wrinkled! I had to stuff it with newspaper overnight in order to take out some of the wrinkles. I've been using the bag for 2 weeks now. The fabric still has wrinkles.
