Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe for Nintendo Switch

Kirbys return to dreamland deluxe is everything I wanted from a remaster.The original game was already one of Kirbys best and now it has been made even better with better graphics and more additional features.The new merry Magoland area is a great collection of mini games and the new Magalor Epilogue is a fantastic new addition.Add onto that a harder version of the main adventure and the boss rushes and this game will entertain you for hours.Also the soundtrack is amazing!

A great return to Dreamland with Kirby

A welcome remake for the Switch

This game is just as good as when it came out the Wii. In fact, nothing from the main adventure has been changed besides the addition of two new powerups which in hindsight, doesn't change much. But there is nothing wrong with a faithful remake at least this time the added notable content to the mix. (cough cough donkey Kong tropical freeze and new super Mario bros U deluxe cough cough.) These two new additions are a more convent way to play the minigames + achievements and a new side story. The minigames are self-explanatory and the new side mode ads at lease an extra 2-3 hours to the experience.

Can be enjoyed as a kid or an adult!

I’ve always loved Kirby games, but this one is an amazing addition. Last Kirby game I played like this was Star Allies back in 2018, but that game was way too easy. In this game it seems like the difficulty was ramped up just a small bit so that it is enough of a challenge for an adult, while also keeping it kid-friendly. With this being a port of the original Kirby’s: Return to Dreamland I’m glad they added additional end-game content that is just as fun as the original levels! Not to mention the variety of minigames to play with friends locally. Thumbs up from me!

Sorry if you were a bit mad Abt that but here's an actual review after trying out the game.First of all I definitely prefer Kirby and the forgotten land over this. This game is still pretty good it's just that it doesn't feel as fun as forgotten land.Second of all I'll give it all for hal laboratory for actually putting effort into the recreation of this game. They could've ported and add no new content but they decided to sprinkle on some really fun mini games and an extra side story which is cool. Plus they made it 60fps which is rlly nice compared to having to play star allies on 30 fps which isn't very delightful...Third of all, I like the plot to the game a lot though I won't go into further detail ... Morehey guys I was that dude who made the Fortnite review. It's Great and Good.

Great game for those new to "Return to Dreamland". Good game for those who've already played the Wii version. Took me 10 hours to 100% story mode and magalor epilogue. 3 modes left. Okay replay value as puzzles aren't that difficult. The two new abilities are over powered but in a good way. Sand ability is my fav. Nostalgia had me wanting this game and I admit it was same feelings then and now. It's Great but too short.

Kirby Never Misses

One of my favorites back on Wii. Much better than the other 2D Kirby game on Switch, Star Allies.Quality content. Quality level design. The new minigames are a blast with friends. Same applies to the levels as well. New stylized HD visuals are pleasant to behold (except for the reDeDeDesign). New copy abilities are fun. Have yet to play the new Magolor Epilogue, excited to get into it. If you want to play Kirby on Switch, first go to Forgotten Land. Then come here.Overall, a good pickup.

Man. I love Kirby so much

Over a decade later, KRtD is just as fun and challenging as I remember it. I just finished True Arena with my partner and we've been enjoying all the new side content (and lore implications?) this version has to offer - on top of vastly improved framerate performance and accessibility considerations baked into the design (yes, say what you will about the cell-shading, but not being able to tell Little Guys from the background is one of my biggest Gaming Struggles). Overall, HAL/Vanpool did an excellent job taking this game to the Switch.

Nostalgic Fun and Charming Adventure

Return to Dream Land Deluxe is a treat for the eyes. The vibrant and colorful graphics bring the whimsical world of Dream Land to life, with detailed backgrounds and adorable character designs. Kirby himself is as adorable as ever, and his ability to absorb enemies and gain their powers adds a layer of strategy and excitement to the gameplay.Speaking of gameplay, Return to Dream Land Deluxe offers a classic Kirby experience with a cooperative twist. Up to four players can join in on the fun, controlling Kirby and his friends as they navigate through various levels, battle enemies, and face off against challenging bosses. Cooperative play adds a new dynamic, allowing friends and family to team up and work together to overcome obstacles and solve puzzles.

It's a little more mature and better suited for an adult who just wants to play a fun, light game, but still presents a challenge.I played it all the way through to 100% completion on the harder mode.
