Best nail tips

I like short and natural nails. With two coats of glue and sealer...I am done in 30 minutes. I have paid tip dollar in salons, used home gel and dips. This is the best. Just lightly buff with fine grit to gwt a super smooth surface if you want to do stickers or regular polish...but I wear mine clear amd get compliments on my nails.

Great for one day-not durable!

Very easy application, but unfortunately the tips crack VERY easily. Non-dominant nails last much longer, but dominant nails (pointer and middle finger especially) either crack or break off entirely within a day or two. Mind you, this is just from typing and day-to-day life, nothing crazy. A good alternative, if you don't mind having to reapply them completely every other day.

I bought this kit on a whim to fix 2 nails I had that were broke so I could go out that evening and I have had FANTASTIC results. Just with any other product you buy you have to do a little tweaking. When doing an entire nail go for 2 rounds. Makes them stronger and more thickness you will need. As far as the gel brush getting hard and clumping I immediately put the brush in the cleaner bottle and problem solved. No harm no foul no problems. You also don't have to overdue the gel. The activated is your prime step. I got multiple uses from the kit. Horrible "gel" product...waste of time and money

I bought this after doing both gel nails and also dip powder so I am not new to any of this. I found the sizes to be good and was excited about the kit. I spent way too much time to get one hand done and the gel would not "self-level" as the kit says it will even with thin layers nor did it firm up. I was beyond frustrated and never did the other hand. Got the acetone out and didn't even need to soak them...they easily peeled off, even the tips.

Going to give this a 2 star rating. If you take your time and practice, and have patience you may be able to use these. They chip easily. Try to use the smaller nail rather then larger ones. Good luck, but I wont be purchasing again. So far I have only tried the white tips.

Super impressed

Wow! These are amazing. There's definitely a learning curve, but I was able to work out the kinks and by my second set I was a pro lol. The instructions say you don't need to buff or file after you apply the gel but, pro tip, you definitely do. But they are simple to apply, stay on great, they look beautiful and they're easy enough to remove. I will be repurchasing.

They last sooo long!

I did my nails with the white French tip 4 days ago and they're still on and still strong! I have 4 kids and all day I'm picking up toys, upending things and just constantly using my hands and none have broke yet. When I go get my nails done I always have 1 that will break after a 2 days or at most a week! And I pay $60 just for 1 to break so soon. My only complaint about these is you get one wear from each side. Need smaller sizes but you can file them smaller. Just wish more came in the pack. I am buy this again!

This kit surprised me!

I almost returned this after reading reviews elsewhere. But I figured for $14, it's worth a shot when Ulta has a fab return policy. READ the directions IN FULL before you try this. They say to use a clean paper towel after filing for a reason- dust will make your gel look textured and less shiny (and less professional looking). Like another review said, I also wish there were more smaller sizes so that there's less waste, but I think I'll try filing the sides of those tips down to make them work. I used the French tips and filed them to a cute almond shape.

Very Disappointed

I have used this kit for a long while, and lately the nail glue is just horrible. I sat applying glue and activator on one set of my hand, making sure the glue was sealed with the cap, every time I used it. Not only the the glue dried up so fast after finishing one hand, that it also dried up the brush making it brittle to re-use and it also broke off the brush, when i tried working on the other hand. Now what am i supposed to do. It's not worth it. Very disappointed.
