Won't be verified as my partner other purchased the maker, not me.. but i do use it.Works well, does what it says.. the ice melts over time and the unit automatcally makes more which is great.Good for use by a few people not in a party situation. I have no hesitation in recommending it.

I really enjoy the ice maker it's amazing coming into the warmer time of year having ice within minutes, Especially because our freezer is full and it doesn't take up much space in the kitchen.Upside ice on hand and its not too loud grate sizes cubes especially if you don't like big thick chunky cubes that end up getting tossed out.Down side if you want to entertain I would suggest filling it up and turning it on a couple of hrs before hand so the basket has adequate ice to go around as it does 8 pieces every 8-13 minutes hence why I rated it a 4star but i would havegiven it a 4 1/2 if i could.No regrets in purchasing this item as I believe it's worth it's weight in gold if you love a ice cold drink.
Quick and easy. Compact design for what it does. So handy for summer in particular to fill kids drinks or when guests are over.Husband says it's top 3 of gifts received in 12years, that's a winner.
