KitchenAid 3 Piece Pasta Roller & Cutter Set

Fantastic set, extremely hard wearing parts and very professional as always with Kitchenaid. However, the spaghetti cutter had not been assembled correctly possibly by assembly in the factory which lead to a complete failure and absolute frustration until I actually picked up that two key components were incorrectly installed thankfully not my fault. On realising this I disassembled the cutter and corrected the two parts which then lead to perfect spaghetti.

Best mixer I’ve ever had!

I got the mixer with the pasta cutter and roller attachments as a Christmas gift. So far, I hate to say that it is fantastic! It’s far smoother and quieter than my previous mixer and the pasta attachments are amazing, much better than the 2 manual pasta makers I have had over the years.

Best there is, period.

As a professional chef for 12 years, KitchenAid are the most trusted brand when it comes to standing mixers and the attachments are amazing.If you skimp on a quality piece of equipment, you'll end up spending more in the long run and being disappointed with the inferior product.I've owned a KitchenAid for 6 years now and it's still as good as new. The KitchenAid pasta attachment I bought from John Lewis works like a charm, simplifies the process and doesn't require any skill or a gap at the bottom of your kitchen counter to to use.Seriously, if you're a foodie or want to get something to further a friend or family member's passion for cooking, get this for them. John Lewis have great prices for KitchenAid equipment too, so that's an added bonus.

Excellent, robust quality

These three items are study construction and heavy duty with a smooth operation, and solid controls to change the width of the pasta. The fitting seats well in the KitchenAid mixer. Cutting of the pasta is superb with sharp lines and no ragged edges. They are easy to clean with the brush and a quick rub with a cloth to keep them clean and shiny. They are quite expensive but for the quality they are still fair value. Using the John Lewis vouchers from my purchases, meant they were even better price than anywhere else online

I will never (willingly) eat shop-bought pasta again!

Love this. My husband and son waited months to buy this for me as a Mother's Day gift instead of flowers or chocolates and it was definitely worth the wait. Fantastic! Easy to use, amazing results without really trying. Made fettuccini first, then spaghetti - next on the list is fresh lasagne sheets for their favourite lasagne dish. We're thinking we might buy the pasta shape extruder next - I hate pasta salads but my husband loves them - and I think using heavenly homemade pasta, I may be converted. Really well made - follow the instructions regarding use and care and I don't think you can go wrong.

Love my kitchen aid but this!

I love my kitchen Aid stand mixer and ice-cream maker. This pasta set x3 was my latest addition as I’ve read good reviews and it looks very robust. Use it for the first time during New Year, the sheet maker was amazing; giving variety of thickness choice and I used the wider (for fettuccine) cutter to make udon. However the spaghetti cutter was a total disappointment as it was faulty, my pasta sheet was ejecting back up in clumps, on closer inspection it appeared the grey plastic teeth in the underside had gone faulty, one side looked loose and the other had gone inside rendering its purpose ineffective. I have written to costumer support and I have yet to hear from them.

Useful attachment for your kitchenaid

Bought because I have a shoulder problem so didn’t want a hand crank pasta machine. Simple to use with good results - having both hands free to handle pasta makes it much easier. First goes with fettuccine and spaghetti attachments got into a bit of clumped up mess. You do need to use plenty of flour when handling to stop things sticking together. It will take time to get feel for how to adjust liquid levels when adding wet ingredients for flavoured pastas eg spinach, tomato so expect some trial and error. Fresh pasta will now be a regular feature on the menu.

Won’t replace damaged item when it turns

KitchenAid mixer turned up with paint flaking off. I asked for an exchange, They said they can’t offer anything except a refund and I’ll have to wait 15 days for that to clear. Then I will need to buy a new one at their full market price. This does not Take any account for the inconvenience of having to be without it for what could be about three weeks

Works a treat

I got this as birthday present and immediately gave it a go. First batch was linguini and it was a bit wet. Second batch was spaghetti and that was great. I feel if you can get a good outcome on the second try, then the kit is worth it. My only comment is that KitchenAid doesn't really say: Use this recipe as there are all these online suggestions that either help or don't. However once you finish your research and understand the process, you will really love this gadget. I do.

Worthy investment to get more from your mixer!

Before I purchased this pasta set I'd been looking at them for a while but was very aware of the cost of them. They cost more than a hand cranked machine so I wondered if it was really worth it.Well I ordered them on a Friday on a slight whim and they arrived on Sunday(!) And after watching some videos online I decided to give it a go, my first ever time making pasta at home and I've been using them every single day since!
