KitchenAid 9-Cup Food Processor KFP0921BM – Black Matte KitchenAid’s KFP0921BM 9-cup food processor in sleek black matte is built for everyday prep and versatile meal making. The countertop food processor’s 9-cup capacity work bowl is ideal for slicing, shredding, chopping, mincing, kneading, whipping, mixing, and pureeing ingredients for family meals, snacks, sauces, and doughs. Three intuitive speed options – low, high, and pulse – give you precise control whether you are working with delicate herbs or tougher meats and cheeses. The improved multi-purpose 4-blade design delivers powerful, consistent processing so you can handle tougher ingredients with confidence. It can even mince meat in as little as 10 seconds, based on 500 grams of chicken, beef, and pork, making it a convenient alternative to a dedicated meat grinder for burgers, meatballs, and fillings. When it is time for baking or finishing dishes, use the included whisk accessory to whip fresh butter or quickly incorporate your favorite herbs for compound butters and spreads. KitchenAid’s 9-cup work bowl is designed for easy use and storage. All accessories fit neatly inside the bowl, reducing clutter in cabinets and keeping blades and discs organized between uses. The bowl also doubles as a handy storage container; simply use the included refrigerator lid to store prepped ingredients in the fridge for later use without transferring to another dish. With its compact footprint, modern black matte finish, and versatile attachments, the KitchenAid KFP0921BM food processor is a practical, high-performance addition to any home kitchen.

I really like that this food processor is low enough to sit under the cupboards on the countertop but the container is big enough for bigger amounts. The buttons are easy to use and it makes quick work of processing. It's also quite quiet for a food processor. I gave it a 4 for ease of use, as when you use the slicing or grating blades, the ends fall over and they just sit on top of the blade or eventually fall into the container in whole pieces, but only a few. For me, I'll probably still slice vegetables by hand. I did shred a large amount of zucchini and it worked great for that but again the small ends fall over and they don't get properly grated; either fall into the container or just sit on top of the blade, but I just easily picked them out at the end. Definitely not the KA Classic Food Processor :-(
12 November 2024

I feel like I need to give an honest review. I bought this as a replacement for my kitchen aid Classic food processor I had for 20 years. Unfortunately, it doesn’t hold a candle to the classic model. The motor is powerful, but the base is so light you have to hold it steady so it won’t flip over while processing. It does not chop/grind ingredients thoroughly. It leaves ingredients in the middle mostly unprocessed while the top and the bottom are over processed. I have this problem no matter how little or how much I put in the processor and no matter the technique I use to process. It does not work well at all for pastry blending. My same pastry recipe I used in my old one keeps coming out very over worked in the new model because it’s just not reaching all the ingredients well. I wish after 2 years of really trying to make this processor work for me, I could return it. From what I read online, if you liked the great KA classic model, you should get a Cuisinart Classic as a replacement. I truly wish KA would bring back the irreplaceable Classic food processor.

Outstanding pie crust machine!

We bought this from Walmart because of the price. Walmart had it listed and shipped free for about 85 dollars while Amazon listed it for about 150 dollars. We purchased the machine specifically for making pie dough. My wife's hands are getting too old to do that anymore, but she has always made the best pie crust by hand. The machine has not disappointed us in anyway. We bought our first Kitchenaid in the 70's when they were still hobart, and we have another "Pro" model Kitchen aid mixer for larger bread dough batches. Our only negative is the plastic case of the machine, but considering the price a buyer can easily overlook that. The machine literally operates for only a few seconds to make a perfect pie dough. [Rewarded Review] Fantastic Appliance
22 July 2024

I bought my food processor a month ago after reading many reviews about it. There was not one bad review so I bought it to give it a go. OMG why did I wait so long! It is one of the best kitchenaid appliances I am very proud to own. At the time I purchased it there was also an online tutorial zoom only a couple of days later which covered how to get the best out of your processor. Th consultant made a shepherds pie using real meat & how to mince it in the processor followed by making a yummy cheesecake from scratch. That really inspired me to try so many different meals & I no longer buy my mince meat I make it fresh & it tastes so much better as well as being a whole lot healthier. If your thinking about getting one do it you won’t regret it!I can’t add a pic ... MoreI bought my food processor a month ago after reading many reviews about it. First time KitchenAid customer, having purchased the 9 Cup Compact Food Processor almost 2 years ago. My machine had a minor manufacturing/component failure rendering the whole machine inoperable, (although only a small defect had occurred & the remaining components remained unaffected and in working order) I contacted KitchenAid support as my purchase was still covered under they’re excellent 2 year warranty. After minimum fuss explaining my situation, & providing some photos of my claim to CS, I was issued not only a replacement part (bowl), KitchenAid then express posted me a brand new replacement machine, at no further cost, with a new 2 year warranty for this new machine! If that’s not the pinnacle of ‘User Experience’, Customer Service right here, then I ... MoreFirst time KitchenAid customer, having purchased the 9 Cup Compact Food Processor almost 2 years ago. The replacement part is also sold for n the company’s web store for $50, or nearabouts. I would have been happy to keep my machine working, which I love and use everyday, by paying this nominal fee for a replacement, but I got a new machine and warranty with hassle free support.Great Company!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️Could not recommend/

[Rewarded Review] Pretty but Dumb

It has been a busy month moving back from Europe and resettling in the US. I bought this product a month ago but I only just now opened the box to use it for Thanksgiving. It is a beautiful appliance and I know it would look gorgeous on my granite countertop, but alas it is a piece of junk! Sorry to be so blunt. Never did I imagine that Kitchen Aid would produce something this low quality. It feels like a child's toy, thin plastic, loose fittings and weak performance. There is no way could I use this for my dinner preparations. Desperate to find a solution I climbed into my attic and began tearing though boxes in hopes of finding my old "Cuisinart Classic" (circa 1988). I had boxed it up 3 years earlier when leaving for our sabbatical overseas. I held little hope ... MoreIt has been a busy month moving back from Europe and resettling in the US. I held little hope that I would find it amongst the random treasures in my attic. But there it was, labeled "misc. kitchen”. I took the old girl back to the kitchen and dusted her off. She still had all her attachments and she looked eager to be recommissioned into service. Without hesitation I plugged her in and gave her a whirl. It was like being transported back to the 80's, she shredded that carrot in 2 seconds flat! Still tight and powerful as the day I bought her, albeit not as beautiful. Nevertheless, I was so delighted! But now what to do this new one… the pretty one, the Kitchen Aid. I have concluded that there is no place in my kitchen for this new appliance, no matter how beautiful it may be. I still love Kitchen Aid, I just hope this is not a foreshadowing of things to come, time will tell. In the meantime I have all the original packaging so I can send it back to you?
