KitchenAid Classic Multifunction Can Opener, One Size, Aqua Sky 2

Had one before, liked it, bought another only because someone left the original one in dishwater and it did rust. Easy to operate, and great for people who have problems with their hands. Would recommend it to anyone.

Cute color poor quality

This is poorly constructed. The handle popped off maybe the 10th time I used it. Because the handle is all plastic affixed to opener with a spring, there is no way to reattach or repair this thing.

Doesn't work

I purchased this to replace an older hand opener that was starting to show some wear. I purchased this one because of all the great reviews, however, mine only worked for about a week. It does not catch on the rim of the can and I just turn and turn the knob but it does nothing. I can't see anything wrong with it either. I have tried different styles and sizes of cans and its the same thing. It punctures the can, maybe does one small rotation and then cannot catch again. I end up having to switch to a different opener. It looks nice and is a pretty color but is the only good thing about it.

Dont buy, breaks and cant be repaired.

Terrible opener, treated it with kid gloves and it stopped working after 7 months. WD40 doesn’t help, it spins nicely but the tension is off and it doesn’t open cans. No way to adjust the tension or position, I like to fix rather than replace and it’s impossible with this tool.

Finally a can opener that actually works!

After trying several manual and electric can openers, I've finally found one that actually works! I have found that many manual can openers are hard to hold, time consuming, and end up hurting your hand after trying to open a can. The electric ones seem to be a little better until they stop working, which usually happens pretty quickly. This can opener checks all the boxes. It's easy to hold, gets the job done quickly and efficiently, comes in several different beautiful colors and is a moderate price. Also, after several months of use, it still works perfectly.

Love the color!

This is a really heavy duty can opener. I’m super impressed with it. I prefer manual can openers and mine recently stopped working (didn’t know that was possible) so I got this one to replace it. So far I’m really happy with it. Plus it’s a cute color!

WASTE OF $$$$

Work wonderfully AT FIRST. Now it won’t turn and is impossible to open cans. I loved the color and design (bottle opener) when I bought it but I should have checked the reviews first. Waste of money and time. Not worth buying.

Won’t last long

Bought this can opener because I thought I’d get a good quality product from KitchenAid. Within a couple of months the metal blade stopped cutting cans open and became useless. If you tilt the handle and squeeze at just the right angle you get a grip on the can, but it quits cutting before you get all the way around. I planned on calling KitchenAid, but their site says that you need to take products like these back to where you purchased them instead of contacting them. I didn’t keep the receipt, so I’m outta luck! Won’t purchase again.

Worst can opener ever

This was bad from the first day, when it was so hard to turn it hurt your hands and required deep knee bends to make it move! It got way worse over a couple Months and eventually just stopped doing anything. Truly awful.

Yuck. Don't buy.

Opened maybe 3 cans and then just went to poop. It doesn’t grip, doesn’t cut through, handle loosens. I didn’t want to listen to the reviews, but I should have. It just keeps getting worse.
