I just love this mixer. Yes, it's expensive, even with the offer I got of £30 discount, but for me it's worth it. I have been searching for ages for a mixer with a genuinely slow speed and this has one. It's great to beat up a sponge cake without flour going everywhere when you start the mixer. The top speed doesn't feel quite as fast as my previous mixers but I think this is an illusion, as my creams and egg-whites don't take any longer to do. Having it cord-free is also great; I don't have to search for an electrical outlet near where I want to use it and i don't have a cable to get in the way. I fully charged it when it arrived, which didn't take long, and I've used it about 6 times before it needs a re-charge. As long as it lasts me for 10 years, I would ... MoreI just love this mixer. I really like that it's cordless, light, and quiet. But it's not really up to the task of making my normal large batch of chocolate chip cookies. Took too long to cream the sugar and butter. Then did not mix the dough thoroughly even after a longish period. The worst part was the brown sugar had some lumps that it did not break up due to what I assume is poor design of the beaters. I had to go through and break up the pea sized and larger clumps with my fingers, and even then some made it through to the finished cookies. I am going to order the flex edge beater attachments to see if they do any better, but if they don't, I will be sorry I did not save the box to return this.

I love this cordless hand mixer. It is much easier to use without the cord dangling around the mixing bowl. It also frees you up to move about the kitchen rather than staying near an outlet. So far, it has been powerful enough to handle all the mixing jobs that I would have used a corded hand mixer on. And it seems to hold its charge for a long time. I did have a problem with one beater within a month of purchase: it became loose where the shaft meets the beater head. I called Kitchen Aid and they sent replacements immediately.

Go Cordless they said. I did and do not regret it. I have used this cordless hand mixer multiple times on one charge(The charging is pretty quick, also) and love it. I have used it to make mashed potatoes, cake batter, brownies, cornbread, making dip, etc. It works great and no worries about a cord that wants to get in the way and no cord that does not get tangled up trying to store it. The blades are easy to install and uninstall. I would definitely recommend to anyone that likes to bake or cook. I love the fact that when you turn it on it starts out slow and picks up speed to keep from food splashing out of mixing bowls and it really isn't that heavy to use.
At first I was giddy to have this. Slow start, no cord and quiet. Not having a cord is amazing! But then I realized, just how little power this has. It can't get through cookie dough. Then the beaters started clanking together, and would fall out occasionally. And then today, one of the beaters just broke in half while making pumpkin bars. The better for that is pretty liquidly so I found it pretty pathetic it broke on that. I'd been hating this item for awhile, but was too tainted by the brand name to do anything about it, making all sorts of excuses for it's poor performance. Don't buy, even the freedom of no cord is not worth the price. It's just junk.
I am an avid baker and have grown up with various generations of KitchenAid hand mixers, from my grandmothers to my moms. On my first use, I noticed the mixer was lighter in my hand than a traditional mixer. However one of my favorite features was how it sits firmly on the countertop when placed down. There's no cord to get in the way and thick batter on the beaters doesn't tip it back over into the bowl. The torque is comparable to a corded hand mixer and it stores neatly in my kitchen cabinet. I'm excited to use it when making mashed potatoes on the stove. No more cord wrangling and hot flames! Highly recommend!!!
I purchased this as I hate having to clean up bowls continually when I need to prep other ingredients we’ve all been there., eg. well hello gorgeous egg whites!! This cordless 7 speed hand mixer is unfussy (with just two stainless steel beaters of very high quality) and will stir, mix or whip with no more splatters with the soft start and love, love that it rests on its butt. Honestly there is nothing not to like about this little beauty. Just remember to check your charge a couple of hours before and you’ll be good to go!! If not you’ve got a quick 10 min charge. I opted for the Matt Black. (There was no other colours in stock). I was not disappointed it is beautiful. with a quick wipe it cleans up great don’t submerge it to wash it the Lithium Ion battery will not ... MoreI purchased this as I hate having to clean up bowls continually when I need to prep other ingredients we’ve all been there., eg. well hello gorgeous egg whites!! This is such a practical little beauty you’ll love it.
I love my cordless hand mixer, I bought one before QVC were selling them. When I saw the price of the TSV I knew I had to buy one as a gift for my daughter. I have the large Kitchenaid stand mixer but since I have had the cordless I very rarely use the big one, only if I want to mix a large amount, like my Christmas cake. As said in the presentations it does not slow up when add more ingredients to the bowl, because it mixes everything in super quick time. The charge lasts for ages and when it needs recharging I can see with the warning light. I love that I can use it when I am cooking something on the hob, with no worries about trailing flexes. It is superb quality but everything I have had from Kitchenaid is, so if if you are thinking about buying it do not ... MoreI love my cordless hand mixer, I bought one before QVC were selling them. I bought this a beautiful red mixer a month ago & l’m SO delighted with its design & functionality .Being cordless it can be used not only quickly but anywhere in your kitchen without being restricted to a space near a power outlet. It is light & comfortable to hold & use for longer periods of mixing . It is very sturdily built & tackles with ease anything you want to do , from beating egg whites to more robust tasks like meatloaf. The beaters are easy to fit & are a good quality thick metal to easily handle the more robust jobs. I LOVE the feature the mixer has of being designed to stand on its end so that the beaters can be positioned over the bowl while preparing other ingredients at various stages of mixing. It’s easy to use & easy to clean & a delight to use ... MoreI bought this a beautiful red mixer a month ago & l’m SO delighted with its design & functionality .Being cordless it can be used not only quickly but anywhere in your kitchen without being restricted to a space near a power outlet. It is light & comfortable to hold & use for longer periods of mixing . Charging is quick.I am just SO HAPPY with this purchase & its quality lives up to the famous KitchenAid name.I thoroughly recommend this zippy little cordless mixer to everyone . I LOVE using it.
I bought this to replace an old corded hand mixer that had seen better days. I haven't used it very often so far, but it's been great. The flexibility of being able to use it anywhere in the kitchen--instead of within a few feet of a power outlet--is just wonderful. I have a small kitchen, and this cordless model means that someone can work at the table while another person works at the counter. In the past, people would have been jammed together at the counter. If that sort of flexibility of movement is important to you, a cordless handmixer will be useful.
