I am in love with my new KitchenAid cast iron Dutch oven. I use it for my soups and stews. I love the fact that I can braise things on the stove and then move the entire pot into the oven. Food cooks very evenly due to the cast iron construction. The pot is heavy duty and is a real multi-tasker in my kitchen. I use it all the time so it’s been a great value. Love the gorgeous blue color too!

I recommend reading the instruction book that comes with so you know how to properly care for your new oven. I like the the instructions are very through and do a great job to get you started in the right direction. The color of the oven is a very nice blue color. The first time using it I made a pot roast and it came out just perfect. I love that the inside is enameled and nothing sticks to it. There is a raw cast iron section on the edge of the pan under the lid that isn't covered by enamel or blue paint. They say for that it just needs greased every so often. No big issue there. I love this Dutch oven. It's heavy and sturdy. It's my favorite thing currently in the kitchen. We're big on using this for gluten-free bread, and I'm impressed with how evenly the heat retains inside. I credit this Dutch oven for the best we have made yet! The look of it is so attractive and joyful. The inside is white cast iron. It's really nice, and wish I had found it sooner!

It has a really sturdy quality and I love its color so much that I think it brings good vibes to my kitchen. It's easy to clean and be taken care of. The weight is at the right level for me to handle and it works on my induction stove. I used this pot to make mac salad and it turned out to be everyone's favorite. The size works for my family and I think it's a good size for 2-5 people. I would recommend it to people and I believe they are going to love it like I do!
