Th stainless steal is very durable and easily whips up the creamiest mashed cauliflower or blends soups. The blade is easy to clean and I like the variable speeds. The button is also easy enough to press and in a good location that makes it comfortable to use. The cons: this blender came with an attachment to help protect your pots and pans from scratching. I attached it as directed and went on to use it in my enamel pot. As I was blending my soup (which was nearly done) I felt the blade hit something. When I stopped the blade and lifted it out of the pot, I noticed the guard had come off.
