[Rewarded Review] BEST Hand Mixer

This is my second Kitchen Aid hand mixer; the first one lasted well over 25 years. I will NEVER purchase another brand of mixer again. Kitchen Aid is reliable, a workhorse, easy-to-use controls, and relatively quiet. The cord flips easily to accommodate left or right hand use. The sturdy end holds mixer upright (and not fall over!) when adding more ingredients to bowl, even with batter on beaters.I have the stand mixer as well, both in beautiful red. Although they were purchased many years apart, the colors match to perfection. I use a mixer frequently and my Kitchen Aid never fails; I never have a thought about either mixer 'not' working as I plug one in for use. My recommendation: purchase and ENJOY.

This KitchenAid, seven speed hand mixer has been a fantastic addition to my kitchen. Not only is it highly stylish, but it is extremely functional and heavy duty for handmixer as well. The overall look of the mixer is a very sleek and modern. The combination of stainless steel and gray make it look very expensive, even though it was very reasonably priced for the quality and high end. The blender comes with a whipping tool and two beaters I really like the fact that the whip comes in addition to the two beaters, because I find that very useful when I need to simply whip some thing, but I don’t want to actually blend it with dual beaters. I found this handmixer very quiet for the powers that went with it, and I found the mixer to be very strong, mixing thick batter. ... MoreThis KitchenAid, seven speed hand mixer has been a fantastic addition to my kitchen. I have use this mixer several times since receiving it, and it does a great job every time I couldn’t be more pleased with it. The beaters are light, but the handle any thick batter that I run them through. I like the multi speeds and having seven different options, provide many ways to use this handmixer, the mixer, easily switches from one speed to the next, with a push-up the button. Overall, this is a fantastic addition to my kitchen and I’m so glad that I have it. You won’t be disappointed by purchasing this mixer. I have a feeling it’s going to last a lifetime as it seems extremely high quality. This is expected as many KitchenAid items always exceed my expectations.

This KitchenAid 7-speed hand mixer performs well. I use it quite a bit. The seven speeds work great for anything that I need to mix, it goes from low so pretty high. I usually use it somewhere in the middle. It has a quiet motor, a lot quieter than my last hand mixer. It's not loud in any way and you can hear other things while mixing, which is something I'm not used to. It looks great, the gray and silver with chrome accents really make it look expensive. Like it's made well. The mixers are definitely made to last. The metal is thick and firm and secured well. Definitely made stronger than most mixer attachments I've used. My last mixer when you use the two mixing attachments you just put them in each side, so this one they're designed to go in assigned holes. My last mixer when you use the two mixing attachments you just put them in each side, so this one they're designed to go in assigned holes. So there may different, so you really have to take an extra minute or so to figure out which one goes where. Which I find to be a hassle, but doesn't matter that much. I also thought the control panel was a little awkward. The power button is a switch. Did you have to move side to side as to where the speed button is changed by pushing. And the beaters are removed by pushing. So the fact that I would have to switch the power off and on I find a little inconvenient because if I'm ever in a position where I need to turn the mixer off quickly. I have to think about which one is the power button. It has a little red thing to let you know it's on, on the switch, but once when I was using it I didn't notice that and I plugged it in and it came on right away. I just wish it was a little different somehow. I find it inconvenient. Maybe it'll just take some getting used to. Other people might like that I just didn't care for it too much. But overall I think it works great, it blends well, gets the job done. It's very lightweight. Easy to handle. Feels good in your hand. It's easy to clean, I wish I had a case that I could store it in but I just saved the case from my last mixer and store this in there. But overall I'm happy with it and I would recommend it.

Kitchen Aid Electric Hand Mixer Model KHM 7210CU has 7 speeds. There was no spitting, splattering or spraying with the soft start feature.Cord stays out of the way with a genius lock in place feature to left or right side.Lays and stands flats. The cord itself is round and solid so it’s super easy to keep clean. It comes with a one year warranty and has beaters and balloon whisk attachments. The wattage isn’t listed but the unit has .9 watts which is 108 watts. Energy efficient. It is plenty strong for making cookies, batters and candies. Excellent choice when I do not want to break out the stand mixer.Comfortable to hold for longish periods, not quiet but not annoyingly loud either.I would choose this Kitchen Aid hand mixer again.

Love the new design of the beaters, easy to remove and clean. Love the weight and handling of the unit. Motor is also much quieter than my old unit. The control buttons are not easy to get to or use. I do not have long fingernails. If I did, I wouldn't be able to use them at all. Trying to get used to them since I like everything else, but they are a real challenge. Better to have controls that stand away from the unit than a small screen that needs to be accessed just right to get more speed.

This KitchenAid 7 speed Hand Mixer seems heavier than my old hand mixer (which was plastic). Yet, it is smaller than my old hand mixer which will make for easier storage. I definitely see it being used for more heavy duty jobs. I love the sleek design and color of mixer - looks so modern compared to my old mixer (which I tossed). However, disengaging the attachments with that slim button provided is hard/tough and I find myself needing to help it out by yanking on the attachment while pressing button. My old mixer, when you press the big button, the attachments fell off by themselves. This is not a good mixer for those whom are older or with mobility issues. When it comes to a hand mixer, my 3 concerns are as follows...1. How easy is it to turn on and off. The answer is naturally easy. The controls are naturally where you expect them to be, so mistakenly turning the device on is not a feat.2. Ease of adjust speeds. Again, the speed controller is easy to get to and manipulate.3. Attachments. Without glancing at the instructions, I was able to swap attachments with no trouble what so ever.So out of the gates, this hand mixer was already off to a good start. The speeds makes sense, 1 being pretty gentle and smooth, 7 being speed racer, and 4 being a very expected middle ground. And just as importantly, the speeds were also very controllable. And lastly, the whip cream test was passed with flying colors. ... MoreWhen it comes to a hand mixer, my 3 concerns are as follows...1. Very awkward and hard to maneuver. The eject button requires in inordinate amount of pressure, at an awkward angle. I did figure out that if I put the eject button on the counter upside down and press on the unit, it works. I'm glad because it's quiet and good for cookie dough and did not want to get something else. The on off button is ok, but the power up and down also would be better with a button instead of a mushy spot, also you have to start over at the low speed every time you turn it off to scrape the bowl or add ingredients. If your hands are pretty strong and/or you are a patient person, you might like the good parts.

Speed control is easy and satisfying to operate and the light feedback for what speed setting it is on is nice. All controls right at your thumb so entirely one hand operable. All speeds are in a good useable range, no scary mega ultra turbo mode that can throw a bowl across a kitchen but definitely still has a bunch of power at top speed. Both quiet and stable even at high speed. Speed setting automatically starts at the lowest setting every time you turn it on so no risk of blowing up a bowl with high speed accidentally when you first turn it on. Comes with both beaters AND a whisk which I really liked, I use both regularly. Finally, my favorite feature is the eject button for the whisk or beaters.
