We have bought blenders with an ice crushing feature before- this one has the distinction of actually crushing ice without needing to add water, shake tte while blender or perform any other shenanigans. The programmed cycles work well, it looks great and is so much shorter than a traditional blender. Jug washes very easily. Bought at deep discount on sale. Amazingly quick delivery. This blender is amazing. For a start you can put the whole of the blender goblet in the dishwasher. This is quite unlike any other blender I've ever know. The blender seems to have a "brain" in that once you have selected the blend cycle it then startd speeds up slows down speeds up and then stops to tell you it's finished. This speeding up and slowing now means that whatever your processing in the blender doesn't all finished up at the top of the blender and completely unmixed. I have to say it also looks very cool sitting on my worktop.

I needed to update my existing blender, being a user of KitchenAid products I decided to purchase this blender. On opening the box, the size of the blender took me by surprise however once I started using the blender the size was of no issue, the blender works great ( a bit loud) but you use to it. It is big enough to blend all the ingredients that i need in one go. Easy to use and the quality is as I would expect from a KitchenAid product. Could not be happier.

I have previously owned Nutribullets and cannot believe how much better this blender is. Very easy to clean. Quiet. Great smooth result.

Just ran the Blender with an ice mix and it was fine. Solid construction and the unit is a bit bigger than expected (but this is not an issue). Down side are two (2) immediate issues. The first is the jug (pitcher) is a hard plastic. Would have expected this to be glass. Secondly the lock-in handle is very stiff and a little hard to operate. However, when the jug is locked in it’s not going anywhere. Be careful of items that come into contact with the base of the jug. They stick to the strong magnet in the base. Overall the Blender looks impressive, disappointing it does not have a glass jug (pitcher) and will test it out further over Christmas. I bought this for my husband to use making bbq sauces, chilli sauces with the added bonus of making the best thick shakes, smoothies & purées. Aside from sounding like an aeroplane is taking off in our kitchen when making super delicious fruit juices. It is absolutely awesome at blitzing stuff! Having said that it’s no where near as noisy on the smoothie setting which is what I use in the morning for breakfast. Instead of making Bircher muslie for breky I’ve been blitzing natural yoghurt, whole oats, honey a banana &/- berries with a dash of homemade apple sauce & nutmeg. It turns out smooth thick & delicious. If you can put up with a bit of noise sometimes I would highly recommend buying this blender.
I bought this 2 months ago, for a kitchenaid appliance in which you pay top dollar for I'm hugely disappointed. Its heavy, bulky, noisy but most of all ineffective. It doesn't blend very well and quite regularly smells of burning. I wished I had have bought a nutri bullet or a regular blender
This blender has the power to do what I want - I really only bought it to make smoothies and frozen ice drinks, both of which it does exceptionally well. I love the magnetic click-in drive. It took me about a day to realise that it needs to click in solidly on BOTH sides, not just the side with the handle. If you don’t hear it click in on the left side it won’t work, whereas I was focusing on the right side. Also, I didn’t read the manual first and was wondering why it wasn’t working properly but you have to turn it to the off position after each use before altering the dial for what you need to do next. Once I worked these things out I have had no trouble at all. Also, it looks good on the bench.
I received this as a gift from my hubby and so far I have enjoyed its compact style and ease of use. Although loud when in use it is very effective in short bursts and so easy to clean! have used for making food soft so no chewing needed, brilliant!
