I am so glad I went with the professional model over the small artisan model. All have great reviews, but I make bread every day of the week (Big family!). This machine is a dream. I couldn’t ask for more. They are a significant investment but if you can afford it you will not be disappointed. One caution: Whisking egg whites! Don’t get distracted, they whisk so quickly you can over whisk them if you pour yourself a drink. Love it! Now to save for the attachments.

I recently got this mixer to use for bread / brioche dough which is hard on lesser machines.The KSM7590 mixes these easily and make a batch of about 2 kilos of dough.So I am very happy I got this machine, it also is very quiet and does not "dance" around on the bench. The bow- lift is actually just as easy to use as a tilt head mixer.Marco

Honestly, its mildly underwhelming. The new handle for the bowl is flimsy and bends quite easily, the overall sturdiness of the holding points of the bowl are quite weak and rock around under the stress of standard doughs. The speed increments are perfectly fine and the noise is quiet and welcomed after using other mixers that scream and whir even on the lowest setting.Overall whilst its a fairly good mixer, there are other commercial models available for around the same price that may be better suited. However the attachments are perfectly fine and as they always have been with kitchenaid work extremely well.

The mixer is excellent! I don’t have to work too hard when it comes to baking breads/cakes. The only negative about it is that my paddle attachment is so hard to put it in and take out. I felt like i was about to break my mixer on the first day because it was such a pain trying to remove it. Had to use oil get it out!
Hi, recently I bought kitchenaid recently model KSM7590 from the Good Guys in Queensland. However the machine that I got doesn't have the word description "heavy duty" on either sides of my trim band. I was bought this as a gift, was so excited for my first kitchen aid! unfortunately it’s tricky to get the whisk etc on (the machine doesn’t pivot, so you have to put it inside the bowl THEN put the bowl on) and the bowl is tricky to get on. It also rattled whilst doing dough. Such a shame.
I bought this about 18 months ago and I love it. It kneads bred, makes buttercream with ease. Even Tsoureki, just keep it on 1 or 2 and dont make a giant batch. Works great. The only negative is I can't get the pouring shield to sit properly, but... doens't worry me.
This is a great machine, strong and very quiet. It handles easily mixing heavy dough such as for bread or brioche. It is all metal construction, no plastic, with stainless steel attachments for mixing.I am glad Appliance Online was able to get it for me, despite it becoming officially unavailable from the KitchenAid site soon after I placed my order with Appliance Online.
Very happy with my KitchenAid mixers ,I have four !I have a Artisan cake shop ,naturescakes,and my mixers have never failed me .They are perfect for my business as everything is small batch and handmade.
I really don't like how this model has a bowl that rests on two hooks, I see others that are designed better, would've preferred that. Clunky and awkward to move on and off the hooks, consequently and inadvertently scratching the base of the stand on first use. The cover doesn't actually cover all the way around the bowl and does not secure to the top. So far I feel this is a mistake...
