So simple to use and just works as it's supposed to. Push it in to the meat and leave it in while it cooks. Even tells you on the dial what temperature to get to when the meat is done.
Bought this one after a supermarket meat thermometer shattered in the oven all over a meal! Now we understand you can’t let any moisture get into the display area, and are taking every precaution with this KitchenAid one. It has a good sized display, works as intended. Just wish it would be easier to clean without worrying about moisture getting into the display area, surely they can design a waterproof one..?
Love that it is larger than typical thermometers but need to be careful with wiping/washing this item as water can go into the dial
Better construction than others I have had which have all broken at the stem. Like the way this is made and can le@ve in meat in the oven.

This meat thermometer does its job well.It was sold to me by Myer at a great value price.Very happy with how it reads the meat's temperature as I prefer meat medium well.
Temperature works well but has will cook less than recommended for medium. Also glass fogged up a bit on the inside
