I have yet to try it out. I bought this thinking it would be easier to use than the 1.4lt jug. Will end up using it when I've perfected my smoothie ingredients. I'm still happy I bought it as I think it will be easier to wash out nut butters and other greasy foods from this which disassembles.

I brought this extra with my blender over a month ago, and have just ordered more! Amazing for single serves and drink straight from the same blending cup. Can handle all the raw fruit and veg easy like the large jug.

I did not expect as to how convenient and versatile this accessory would be. Single serve milkshakes, smoothies and even the small size sauces or pesto mixtures I'd be making. The base of the K400 sits on my kitchen bench top, next to the electric kettle and used almost daily for meal preparations. A worthwhile purchase.

I am so happy I bought this ! I love my k400 series blender but found the jug overkill for one person smoothies that barely covered the base of the blender ! This smoothie sized cup is ideal . As a disabled person I find it very easy to use , I love the sip lid with the larger spout that can accomodate a straw ! I also love that I use the self clean mode to clean this afterwards . The only thing to be careful of is the blades , which are very sharp . Easy to attach to the blender base , no twisting or pushing effort needed, so wonderful if you have arthritis or other joint weakness, rsi ,etcNote :
It's nice to able to make a smoothie for one without the faff of using the full size jug. But at 500ml it's a little small - a few mixed berries, sliced banana and yogurt and it's pretty much brim-full with barely room to screw the blade attachment on. I've had to re-train myself to smaller smoothies..Also, for some reason the blades are set slightly differently to the blades in the main jug. Maybe this is why a lot of seeds are left uncrushed. The large jar does a better job of it. So, it's OK but far from perfect. And it's VERY overpriced.
Have used this for a good 3 weeks now and it’s perfect for a busy morning. It takes me 2 seconds to measure out the ingredients I like, then pop it on and walk away while it blitzes my morning smoothie into a delightfully smooth wonder. Couldn’t be happier. I opt for using a metal straw rather than the lid, but will use the lid when I am running REALLY late and have to take it in the car… haven’t gotten to that stage yet!
Bought this accessory when I purchased my blender. It's perfect for individual smoothies and also do small blends such as mixing eggs for omlettes. It has its own little base that fits very smoothly onto the blender. The drinking top is particularly nice to use - I like the weight and the smoothness of it. It seals well. Very happy with this
the top of the cylinder has a rubber seal which collects the contents of what ever liquid is in it. It is virtually impossible to get the food out from behind the seal. I absolutely love it but i feel gross when using it knowing the previous contents are stuck behind the rubber seal at the top
Bought this a few weeks ago when I found it existed. Instead of making a smoothie in the large container three times a day then transferring it to glass, I now make it in this smaller container - less washing up, less hassle and smoothie ready to go in minutes! Another two on order!
Just throw it on, throw stuff in, and when your done throw it in the dishwasher. Life's too short to have to clean up. And all those people that say, just add water and detergent and turn it on, it never cleans it properly! Love the blending jar expansion. Super fast cold drinks and clean up is a breeze. Do yourself a fav, spend the little extra to pick up one of these for the blender.
