Just wonderful for cutting up raw chickens into serving pieces with a minimum of fuss. I find it makes my job easier also when using this utensil for chopping up a cooked chicken

Excellent quality, makes portioning a chicken very easy, even though I have general kitchen scissors that I bought as part of a knife set, these are so much easier on the hand to use. Especially since I have mild arthritis in my hands, highly recommend.

Terrific shears - cutting chicken backbone beautifully, but not so good on cutting skins.
These shears are a good ergonomic fit for cutting through hard, chunky foods and especially chicken bones (which is why I bought them)
Cut poultry well, good mechanism to latch together though if the latch were to be sprung backwards (out of the way) so that when you are cutting the latch doesn't get in the way and hinder the cut.
These are excellent shears for poultry and other difficult foods to cut. I ordered 14 pairs for xmas gifts and Myers were awesome in getting them to me prior to the day.
I've had these shears for a couple of months. They are blunt and the clip holding them on the closed position for storage is broken. The pin snapped out of the plastic and falls out when unclipping the shears.
Very sharp, cuts poultry well but at the first use, the clip for locking the handles broke. Handles become very slippery when handling poultry. Overall, it's not suitable for users with small hands. I have to use both hands in order to grip the handles.
I wanted these to do spatchcock chicken on the BBQ. While the price was OK, the service from Myer was excellent, the shears themselves were harder to use than a sharp knife. They're in the kitchen drawer and will be used for other purposes.
