here was no real cookie dough smell just a sickly sweet aroma. Taking a good old bite I have to say there really wasnât much difference to a standard KitKat. There was the slightest of cookie dough taste but really not enough to make it instantly recognisable. The ratio of wafer to chocolate to filling just wasnât right and the filling just wasnât punchy enough to fight its way through all the other elements. Although there is nothing wrong with the chocolate I am not a fan of the way the chocolate is so much thicker in some parts to others and really doesnât help the filling situation.

Sometimes when a new flavor of Kit Kat Chunky drops, Nestle goes out of their way to change it, with different formula for the chocolate or a change of texture. The cookie dough edition does neither - it's fairly plain, and the layer of cookie dough is fairly muted. I really like it over all - I enjoy the mild saltiness of it - but it could've been much more.
Kit Kat chunky are the best chocolate/ wafer combination. They have the right amount of chocolate. The cookie dough flavouring compliments the chocolate really well.
