A magnet inside the bit holder grabs a bit tightly. At the end of each bit has a little bit of oil applied which helps a smooth connection with the holder. You can switch the holder between shorter/longer one depends on your job. The main driver feels light and yet very sturdy. Its rubber grip offers you an optimal feeling of a hand-tool. A rotating end and the ratchet grip in the middle help you managing a force of driving precisely. The plastic case looks fancy and is strong. It has a spring-attached opener that automatically goes back after opening the case. I could not have fixed my Dyson animal V7 without Klein.

I needed to open my Wii to clean it out and the tri-wing bits from my security bit set were too big. I found this set and a no-name brand (with a few more bits than this set) at my local Home Depot. All of my all-in-one screwdrivers at work and at home are Klein. The grips are comfortable, the bits are precise, and the quality is second to none. This set is no exception. All of the precision bits are high quality and holes in the center of the bits that have them are perfectly centered. I like the ability to switch to a longer length by flipping the bit holder in the handle although I haven't had a use for that feature yet. I bought this to replace a kobalt set that is in a very annoying soft case with a zipper that the bits can easily fall out of. The big key to this set's awesomeness is the box. It's easy to see and grab all the bits and they can't fall out of their places when the lid is shut. The box is heavy duty with a brilliant spring loaded clasp that has the most satisfying click ever when you shut it. The driver has a great high quality feel with the rubber grip.

I'm a Commercial HVAC Controls technician. I picked this kit up to toss in my laptop bag to replace the 32500 11-n-1 and the 32581 4-n-1 that I normally carry. While they weight about the same, the ability to have a much wider range of bits comes in really handy, especially for thermostats that have the 1/16" set screws! It's great to be able to go from a large Philips to a small flat-blade screwdriver without having to physically change tools; just swap in a new bit! The small space below the driver handle storage also lets me keep extra set screws & etc handy. The spring-loaded slide lock latch keeps the container from opening in my bag!Also being an ET (Electronics Tech) I can easily disassemble items in the field to see why they failed or repair them!My only ... MoreI'm a Commercial HVAC Controls technician. The 32717 case is a benchmark in this tool sector — compact design, durable polycarbonate construction, steel-pinned interlocking hinge, clear lid with debossed bit driver types (just as much for identification as for organization), and last, but not least, a robust function-cued orange latch that cannot be inadvertently opened or broken if tossed in a bag with less than friendly handling and heavy tools. Klein Tools leaves ESD protection, replaceable bits and origin, the only things on my wish list.When it came down to decision time, with the choice being (3) individual Moody Tools Interchangeable ESD Safe Drivers (US) or the Klein Tools 32717 Set (TW) for the same price (ignoring that the 32717 is not ESD Safe), the Klein Tools 32717 case cinched the deal. Another day, Moody Tools.
Bought for hobby and other misc. repairs. All the pieces, including the fantastic case, are solid and seem well built. It made working on my RC truck a breeze; the 1.5mm bit fit like a glove whereas other allen keys had failed to bite the same screw. Long term bit health is TBD, but for normal use I believe they should last.
While I can't tell if each bit complies with the specified size, the triangle #2 fit the screw in a push switch box I needed to take apart and return to service. Handle fits me well, spin cap works perfectly, and magnet holds the small bits with no problem. Looking forward to using this kit again. A higher price point, but I anticipate the build quality to include quality strength bits. Thanks to Klein Tools for the quality build and to The Home Depot for providing a product I can depend on.
This is a great tool kit! This set stays true to the Klein name that I've come to respect over the years. I really prefer the long driver shafts as opposed to the small driver heads with most multi-bit screw driver sets. It feels like I have dozens of single built drivers at my disposal without having to lug around a bag of screw drivers. I only wish the handle was a little thicker, but it's not an issue.
This was purchased for work on computing and security equipment. However, the indent in three of the security bits was off center. One was so bad it would not work. Klein advised to return the tool to Home Depot and they took it back and refunded the purchase since they were out of stock.Because I live two hours out of town, having to return it was not convenient (hence the three star rating). I purchased from another supplier who had the tool in stock. Just to be sure I inspected the tool before leaving the store and all the bits were perfect.One other quibble. Often equipment has recessed screws. The bits in the Klein (and other tools) can be too short to make it to the screw in some cases, but so far so good.
While visiting over the recent Easter holiday, I found my sister's MacBook Pro to be very close to losing screws from the bottom cover. I'm the default IT guy of the family; however, I was traveling without my tools. Luckily there was a Home Depot nearby with this Klein set available. Even better, this set includes the Pentalobe 5 (P5) driver that is needed for a MacBook Pro. Potential crisis averted and now I have a Klein quality set to add to my tool-bag.
