Klipsch Austin Portable Bluetooth Speaker, Black/Gold

I had an older compact speaker and often found it wasn’t that loud and lacking depth to my music - not with this one! What an upgrade! It packs a punch! I don’t need to turn up the volume the whole way anymore. The tone and bass is great. The buttons are easy to use and intuitive. The app is also helpful if you want to customize the speaker even further. Was quick and easy to connect via Bluetooth to my phone. The only negative is the long tone/tune that comes on when you press the power button on, a little unnecessary to me. The battery life has been great with no concerns. Have really enjoyed playing music with this speaker and would recommend.

Wow, little square with a big sound. I was so surprised at how well the little speaker projected and added bass to the music. I have used it multiple times, for a long time and STILL haven’t had to charge the battery, best battery on a speaker I have ever had, and we have gone through some at our pool house. I LOVE that it’s waterproof so I don’t have to worry about it by the pool. It’s solid and built nice, the front seems to be a metal and not plastic. Connected no problem to my phone and fast, it reconnects without prompting too. You won’t be disappointed in this purchase!

A Small Speaker Packing Great Features

This little speaker provides great detail for it's size. While the Nashville and Detroit have better bass, the portability of this unit makes it an easy choice to throw on a bike and go riding. The water and dust resistance also puts me at ease bringing it outside. The broadcast mode also works insanely well! You can easily get two and attach one to each handle bar to get a stereo mix. I definitely recommend this product if you need something ultra portable with great sound quality and a ton of flexibility!

Austin pack big speaker sound in a compact design

I am a lifelong Klipsch fan, so I had to try the new series. I replaced a JBL and a Bose and could not believe how good this speaker is. The base out of a small speaker is great. I plan on buying another couple and cannot wait for the Detroit to be in stock. If you like great sound Klipsch is the way to go and this small speaker pack a big punch.

Fun Speaker

This speaker is so versatile. We have two of them and we like to put one in the kitchen and one in the entry way for when we are having guests over to immediately greet them with music. The broadcast mode makes doing that super easy and is just a fun touch. It's small size makes it really easy to move around with you wherever you may want music. I pick it up and head into the office, the gym, the bathroom to get ready, but it's totally loud enough to hear over a treadmill or any other noise. For $99 it really cannot be beat!

Great sound from such a small speaker

Unbelievable the sound that comes out of this speaker. Plays louder at half volume that some larger speakers play at full volume. The bass is not bad for such a small speaker. The vocals are crystal clear. The nearest rival, the Marshall Willen is not a bad speaker, but the Klipsch Austin wins hand down in every category.

Large sound from a small box!

The sound is very impressive for such a small package. Battery life is excellent as well. I use it (quietly) when playing golf, & it easily plays for a 4 hour round. Very satisfied. The only minor thing is it’s hard to read the labels on the buttons. There are only 4, so it’s simple to remember..

Mostly great but a couple of weird design issues

I bought these to have a few of them linked together around my home. Well the directions suck and I don't know why Klipsch doesn't make better manuals but it seems to be intentional (C'mon Klipsch you can do better). Also when you turn it on there is a RIDICULOUSLY loud theme song of some kind which cannot be shut off, I hope your neighbors aren't sleeping. But once they are set up and linked they sound good and I can listen to my podcasts as I wander around my home.

[Rewarded Review] Little bass with treble. Great for indoors

The sound quality is nice for the size of the speaker. It is loud and has a little bass to it. It can not catch the lows. The build of this is great able to clip it on to your backbag, purse or jeans. The battery life is good for 2 hours of nonstop music. It is easy to connect to.

This speaker is amazing! It’s the perfect size to take on the go. Small, but definitely sturdy. It easily connects via Bluetooth and has great volume. It’s perfect for a bike or stroller. I would absolutely recommend!!!
