We replaced the ~R1.5 pink batts in our roof with these ones. Two of the 430mm width fit neatly between our trusses, which are on 900mm centres. Combines with the R1.3 blanket under our roof sheeting we’ve now got about R6 above us.These batts are lovely to install. They squish nicely to fit in between things, they’re so much less itchy than the pink batts they replaced, and they’re straightforward to cut (with a bread knife!).Replacing your ceiling insulation is a painful job, but these batts are worth the effort.
