Knife serves its purpose in cutting into live cables but is not mega sharp and I don't know how long it will hold any sort of edge and is quite expensive, I don't know why there isn't a 1000v Stanley knife with replaceable blades, I would think you could sell thousands of those.

Could have more weight in the handle. Handle is hollow. Picture looks bulky, but it's very lightweight. Still a great tool!

Four stars since it was not sharp out of the box. I had to sharpen it using an istor, a Swiss tool sharpener. It has a nice grip and is well made. Blade seems to hold the edge but it was not put to heavy use. Overall, this is a quality product, Cheers,

Knife serves its purpose in cutting into live cables but is not mega sharp and I don't know how long it will hold any sort of edge and is quite expensive, I don't know why there isn't a 1000v Stanley knife with replaceable blades, I would think you could sell thousands of those.

Good knife hopefully it will last for a long time. Blade isnt changeable I work with mainly European armored cable so a lot of cutting and stripping.
I own a lot of German tools. None has disappointed me yet. Knipex is really expensive but worth it if you prefer quality.
If you are an electrician and you don't own this you are missing out. Incredibly comfortable, sharp and fits perfect in your hand. This will make the job that much easier. You can't compare any other knife to a knipex. It's 1000v rated and insulated as well. Thank me later.

I bought this knife for stripping large cables so to cut the insulation but after 3 hours of cutting the blade cracked at the lower level which was the most requested for me but good product for the price
this is my go to knife for terminating anything 8 awg or larger. Feels good in your hand easy to control because you can choke up on the blade. Just like everything made by knipex it is well thought out and high quality.
