The blades are very sharp, make a clean cut. Even though it is not as small like mini sizes, this cutter is still very useful for tighter spaces or hard to reach cuts. Its a good addition in my tool box.

Smaller than expected... but good. These are the cutters tradesmen argue over... are they the best? No complaints other than size... which was my fault. These are smaller than i expected.Been using them a few months in commercial construction. No issues. But to put that in perspective, i live and eat by my tools, so i've never bought Walmart tools. I will not even buy from any brand that sells at Walmart.So in a world where i never buy into disappointment, i liked these. Will buy a bigger size next time.

I got these to replace an old pair of cutters that had gotten dull. Compared to the old pair, these cut much better, but I can't say thwy would be superior to any other new cutter. However, they are well made and work very smoothly. I got these based on the recommendation of a mechanic friend that swears by Knipex tools. Being German made, I suspect they would outlast several pairs of cheaper Chinese made tools.

Have purchased a variety of KNIPEX tools and have been more than satisfied with each. I am using this 160 set for cutting automotive style copper wire. I am sure it can cut heavier wire, but I have bigger cutters for that. This set of cutters cuts cleanly and easily. Put together very well. The pliers are equipped with a spring to return them to the open position which I find very handy.
Just plain perfect. I bought these cutters because they are substantial enough to use on some harder materials like smaller springs, nails, or cotter pins, but low profile enough to use on zip ties or cable/wiring as well. I got sick of carrying around small snips, mostly because they don't fit well in my large hands, but also because the spring loaded ones are difficult to store safely for travel(the sharp edges are exposed), and finally because I don't use them that often anyway(more of a mechanical guy that does occasional light electrical). These are a nice in between size that will cover you for most needs, however the jaws will be bulky if you do a lot of wiring with 22-24awg like in control panels and the like.The fit and finish are excellent. The jaws are precisely machined and perfectly aligned. I haven't used these yet, but I can tell you from experience with other Knipex cutters that they have the best steel for pliers I've ever seen. The cutting edges are hardened enough to prevent them from getting dented, yet tough enough to prevent them from chipping.Buy one pair of Knipex pliers and you'll likely find yourself replacing every pliers in your set with Knipex over time. They're that good.
Does exactly what it's supposed to do best. Cuts zip ties flush. Perfect length to provide great leverage so each cut requires very little strength. Sharp cutting edge to easily cut through plastic ties like butter. I work in the telecom industry which requires flush cutters for any zip ties. This is truly the best on the market I've used so far. It's not cheap for a flush cutter but if wire dressing and cable management is your profession and you only use professional grade tools, this is the flush cutter to have.

I cut a lot of copper wire, many cuts a day of about 14 awg. I was looking for a pair of comfortable and precise cutters just to make my day easier. These are the ones, the right size, the right "feel" in the hand, small and light enough to cut fatigue but strong enough when it gets a little tougher.The hinge point is tight but not to tight, the blades align perfectly and the handles fit my hands like a glove.Just the slightest bit of burr on the outside of the jaws which I smoothed out in less then a minute with a fine diamond file is the only knock I could give them.Worth the money and highly recommended.
These are the best quality diagonal cutters around. Second to none.... The attention to detail is perfect, the cutting edges are clean and sharp they mate perfectly with no gap light light coming thru. I tested it on a sheet of paper and a tissue and it cut it super clean and crisp, it looked like a scissors cut it. Smooth operation and just the right amount of tension to use one handed with good control. There really is a difference do yourself a favor and just try a pair, you won't want to use anything else.
