Cutter does a great job with soft and semi-hard materials. The size is perfect to keep on the go. My only complaint is that the handles don't have a spring mechanism to keep them open.

I had my last pair of these for 25 years and they are now in need of replacing. I highly recommend them. They have been used heavily over the last 25 years being a professional electrician. I paid a lot more 25 years ago too. If you are looking for a long lasting pair of snips then these are the ones to go for.

Wire cutters ideal size for the smaller hand
I didn't try it on thick wires, but for thin ones does the job well. It's pleasant to hold in hands.
Had 3 sets of these. Use them on Data cable and cable upto 2.5mm3 sets and they've all gone blunt or they start to stick, require regular oiling.I then bought a set of CK side cutters. Haven't looked back, haven't had to oil them either....
These are THE BEST cutters for cable ties. Because of having a zero bevel cutting edge, they don't leave behind a dangerous sharp end on the cut end of a cable tie, they cut perfectly flush and smooth. Perfect for cutting Cat5e, alarm wire, cw1308 also. Twin and earth is too much for them, they're rated up to 4.9mm of copper, so 2.5mm twin and earth is far too much as the three cores add up to 6.5mm.
Good quality product sold at a good competitive price would recommend
I didnt need these particular cutters because I use 78 03 125 & 78 61 125 regularly. Knowing how good the Knipex brand is, when I saw these at a reduced price, I just purchased them as will be good for when I dont need to get in tight gaps.
