Dental KONG with Rope S

My dogs love this product when they were just pups. It helped relieved their teething problems. Also, a good activity to bond with them. The rope is so versatile that it took a lot of strengths and months for my dogs to break them. I have bought them this again and again as the product was great and secure. I'm never worried that it will break apart and choke my dogs.

My dog loves to play tug of war with this toy but she also likes to nibble on it and it does not shred into bits all over the house. I would not suggest any improvements. Great size and durable that is made to last. I highly recommend.

Centre section great, rope destroyed in < 2 days

My 4 month old puppy loves playing tug of War so thought this would be a great toy to play this with and maybe encourage some of those baby teeth out. However less than 2 days after receiving this the rope has been entirely destroyed. Not just fraying, it is literally biten in 2 with thread everywhere. Considering this was from Kong I expected better, stronger toy!

Disappointing for a Kong Product

I have come to expect a high level of quality and durability from Kong products. This toy did not meet that expectation. Our dogs (40 lb pit mix and 85 lb Great Pyrenees/Dalmatian mix) untied the knots and removed the kong in less than 5 minutes of playing. They severed the rope in less than an hour. So, rather than having a toy they can play with together, they have two short ropes and one kong.

Doggy Tooth Brush

My puppy loves to chew on the rope part of this toy. The rope seems sturdy. It’s held up really well to my pup’s constant knawing. I’ve been trying to get him to chew on the sturdy rubber center. I think it’s still too big for his puppy jaw. I like that the rubber center is supposed to help keep teeth clean. As soon as he’s bigger, I hope he uses this.

Less than two hours

Etta is a 10-month-old, 40-lb. mutt. In 90 minutes or so she had bitten the rope in four pieces and had untied the knots. She’s not an aggressive chewer. I threw the rope away but kept the red rubber part. This is the first time Kong has disappointed us. I just replaced one Kong toy that we’ve used for decades (through southern summers in the yard and run through the dishwasher countless times) because it finally began to flake. Save your money. Kong makes much sturdier toys. Keep shopping.

Scooter's Kong

My horse was chewing through his lead rope just below the snap whenever someone unfamiliar with this habit didn’t remove the lead rope while he was tied up. I was losing 2-3 ropes per month. I saw a pic of this toy and thought that it would solve the problem. It has been incredibly successful, already saving me hundreds of dollars! Another rider has asked me where she can get one.

Top Notch Tug Toy

Not your normal boring tug rope. Our sheepadoodle can grab onto the knots; she loves that the center Kong slides and can be filled. Another favorite for us and her!

Two pulls and it came apart :(

My young pooch is just learning how to play tug games..... thought this would be a good option as she likes her other red KONG toys. Very disappointed that after two "tugs" the knots came undone and rope came out of the holes... and is nearly impossible to thread back through...thought I could re string and tie it in a circle; no so much. Now its just another roll- around toy.

low quality

I bought this just because it's from KONG, but it turns out that I might have expected too much. My 5kg dog destroyed this within 3 hours while a similar product I bought from Woolworth lasted 8 months.
