My 8 month old puppy is 40 lbs and still growing. He has reached a point where everything labelled "for aggressive chewers" disintegrates mere minutes into play time. We have spent so much money trying to find just the right ball for fetch that won't split open the moment he closes his jaws, and... I think we finally found the right one!! We've had this ball for a week and despite some very ENERGETIC fetching and chewing over the past 7 days, we can't see ANY damage. I'm shocked. And delighted. And bought a second one just in case, but man, It's gonna be a while before we have to break it out! The only negative is this... does it HAVE to squeak? Whatever. It's worth it.

Our border collie eats most things in no time. Tennis balls, soccer balls and most other regular balls are destroyed in no time. We've had two of these for almost a year and they're still going strong. And when our pup wants to play and is being ignored he'll often pull one of these out and squeak it at us until we play catch with him. Only trouble is the colour. The black makes it hard to see in garden sometimes.

These Kong Duramax Balls are the best. My dog is a major chewer and will tear through most chew toys withing a few hours. These balls have lasted MONTHS. It's possible that we've had the older two balls for more than a year. The squeakers stopped working on the older balls, but the balls are still in one piece. Our dog loves these so much, we bought two more for Christmas. You won't be disappointed if you purchase this ball.
