I had high hopes that this would be another good slow-feeder for our mini schnauzer pup. He loves his other two Kong slow feeders. First, I found it difficult to open. Not a big deal in itself as you can always just drop the treats in through the holes. The big issue is that the outer blue layer (rubber I think) started coming off the first day he used it. You can actually kind of peel it off by hand. I don't think this product is fit for purpose.

Bought to occupy Patterdale-she loves it. Had no problems apart from the blue starting to come off at one side. Maybe something company needs to address, but for keeping our dog occupied it's been the best thing. She gets so excited when we are going out as she knows she will be getting this.

My 10 month old husky loves this! And it keeps him entertained for hours at a time when filled with his favourite treats.Only reason I didn't give 5* was the rubber bits on it were easy to rip off (he pulled these off quickly) and the fact that it works best with very small treats being put in where as my boy likes his big treats.Overall extremely hard wearing toy (he's a big chewer) and I would recommend it
Good quality, but unfortunately it didn't work for me. I couldn't unscrew the lids of the chambers, so just shook a few treats in through the holes they are supposed to come out of, then she couldn't get the 'flip' action to work. Sorry! Next time I'm in a pet shop I'll donate it to their charity box
My Staffy pup pulled the blue rubber outer section into pieces within 15 minutes of having it. Have had to take it off her as she is eating the small rubber parts. Worst kong toy l have ever purchased. Good idea but waste of money
I gave my dog this on Christmas Day as a gift.What a start to the day! Within 5 minutes of absolutely loving the thing, she got her tongue stuck in the slits in the plastic inside the hole!It was so scary, and she was traumatised!One of us had to hold her head firmly still while she squealed and panicked, while the other unscrewed the puzzle feeder and tried to gently unstick her tongue.The poor love was off all day after and I'm not surprised. We were both shaken for ages after too.
Our dog's tongue got stuck in the sharp slot inside. It was really distressing for our dog. This has clearly happened to other reviewers too.
The label showed it being opened to fill. It doesn't open and filling it with kibble/treats one by one takes more time than my dog took to empty it. Stick to the orbital style one!
