This little stove gets hot to about 300 degrees. It will cook or warm. Always use heavy foil for easy clean up. Also, you can find a cookbook just for this stove on amozon Kindle for recipes from a former trucker, who has used it for yes. Wis it was a little bigger.

AMAZING PRODUCT

This is by far the best thing to have when travelling.We got 2 of them with our CT money last week and we just travelled 1,400 km this past weekend.We had taco's for lunch on Saturday and the meat was still frozen. We put the frozen meat in both Food Warmer and within 30 minutes they were both extremely hot. The smell in the van when I opened one of them, was wonderful.Just be careful when you open it because of the steam.Yesterday on the way back home, we did the same, it only took about 15 minutes to warm up.My husband is a truck driver and he will be using one of them for work since he doesn't have access to a microwave.If you are a family of 4 or more, I would recommend that you got 2 of them. Arrived broken!

The person opened his gift on Christmas morning and only to find out that the latch came broke !! It was embarrassing to have someone receiving a broken gift. How could they shipped a broken item?? A couple of the latch bits were seen in the bag!

Didn't last, lacking feàtures

After using the lunch box stove 3 times it stopped heating. A Phillips screw head was stripped on the rear, no indicator light and no user replaceable fuse. Box started giving off fumes of burnt plastic and something became loose and rattled inside. Wallmart accepted it back for refund, no questions asked.

Exceeded Expectations!

I absolutely love this thing! I am in sales and work from my car between appointments. I use it to warm fish, chicken, rice, and veggies by putting them in about 30-45 minutes prior to eating them. They come out at the perfect temperature and delicious! Healthy, hot meals without the expense and time of eating out daily! This thing pays for itself! I recommend using disposable foil pans as it could otherwise be difficult to clean and this allows you to heat multiple meals in-between cleanings (more than one meal per day). Although I've only had it for a month, I'm impressed with the apparent quality-it feels quite sturdy and durable. It was also an incredible value-$18 at Sam's Club.

Food WARMER!!! Nothing more.

It doesnt heat to 300*. It takes awhile to warm anything up but thats all I bought it for. I doubt that it can actually COOK anything. Easy to use and easy to clean. Patience is a virtue with this WARMER...

Great food warmer!

I actually should say it keeps your food hot just turn on 15-30 minutes before eating and your food will be nice and hot. My husband works in pipeline construction outdoors as a Heavy Equipment Operator and now I dont always have to make soup when its cold, but instead I can make him a burrito and know that it will be hot when he eats it. My husband just loves it too by the way.

Heats up quick but plug inside wires break easy

It's a great portable D.C. oven and heats up frozen Dinners in less than 10 minutes. And non frozen within 5 minutes. The only downside about this oven is the plug. Since you can only plug it in your car cigarette lighter (the wires in the plug become lose) and unless you know how to take the plug apart and fix it yourself, the oven is trash cause the plug inside wires are broken. And you may be able to get a Refund/exchange threw target , but then if you get another one the plug will break again.

Husband loves this!!

My husband being in the trucking industry, grew tires of cold sandwiches. It wasn't easy for him to just stop at a fast food location. So we needed to research a product that he could use to heat food. Came across this item, he absolutely loves this. We use an aluminum loaf pan to store his food and foil, place it in the lunchbox and when he is ready to eat he plugs it in 30-40 minutes before and his food is piping hot. He loves it!!

It is really good! Use it w/liners or glass meal prep containers.

I purchase this lunch box oven for my hubby, he works in the trucking industry and comes home on weekends only. He loves his hot meals, calls me everyday to tell me that his food is as tasty as freshly cooked. I cook his meals and then freeze them right away, then they go from the fridge to the lunch box to his palate. I use it with Premium Glass Meal Prep Food Storage Containers (3.5 Cup, 28 Oz, 720 ml, Rectangle). It fits perfect and saves a lot of money vs buying the one time use aluminum containers.
