Perfect daily moisturizer for combination skin. Mousse/gel like texture and fast absorption. Works perfectly under makeup. Has a slight earthy scent but it dissipates after a minute. My skin feels so good and looks plump and fresh. I’m very impressed. I’m at an age where I refuse to spend money on something that kind of works or I have to “make it” work. My super sensitive skin is a tough customer to make happy and I will say this made me very happy. Tried a sample and then bought the big jar. Definitely coming back for more.

Over.I'd advise skipping this one, at least until Kora makes some major revisions to the formula. There are far better moisturizers out there.

It seemed like this product was going to be converted from a pump form to a jar form with a refillable pod. First, the turmeric moisturizer came out, but it was much too heavy and sticky on my skin. When I finally finished my Hydrating Moisturizer, I did not realize it would be my last. I assumed it had been replaced with the Active Algae Moisturizer. This product is what it says (lightweight). It's almost a little too liquid, but is in no way a replacement for the Hydrating Moisturizer. It's fine, but it is not the same. It's a little smelly (nothing offensive, just one of those ... This truly has a lightweight coverage that didn't irritate my extremely sensitive skin. The smell is clean and botanical and very light. I'm prone to headaches however it's natural scent was not an issue for me. My moment of "ahh" was that this product soaks into the skin so perfectly and doesn't leave an oily residue on my forehead hours later. Other moisturizers I have seem to just sit on my skin. I can use this product, go to work and do my everyday things, come home and settle down for the evening and still notice before my nighttime routine that my face isn't oily. I would absolutely recommend this and most definitely will be purchasing again, along with other products!
One of my new favorite moisturizers! I use the Turmeric Glow moisturizer in the morning and the Active Algae moisturizer at night and I feel like my skin has never been more hydrated than it has now. It’s the perfect amount of moisture without being too heavy. My skin is prone to clogged pores while also being sensitive in some areas and this moisturizer is perfect! So glad I found this company!

This has become my holy grail moisturizer. I’ve received so many compliments lately saying my skin is glowing. I noticed that my skin looks more hydrated and plump. I do use this with 2 drops of the noni oil. If the price is keeping you from trying the product please do some research! I listened to a few podcasts/interviews about the products and tried for myself. As far as the smell…. Yes. It’s a little earthy but previously I used BiossanceSqualane + Omega moisturizer and it does NOT smell as bad as that one. Kim K said she would eat poop everyday if it kept her young and this is definitely not as bad as that. For the results a little stinky face is worth it :)
Not a fan. I bought this when it was on sale in the turquoise container because I loved the cute lid design and the fact that it was refillable, however, this product did not mesh well with my skin. I used it morning and night for three weeks, but I ended up returning it because I started noticing bumps and acne popping up and I didn’t want my face to get worse. My face had finally cleared up thanks to Curology and this was causing acne to flare up. No thanks!! My mom said she noticed my skin looked drier too. The smell didn’t bother me as much as some other people, but there definitely was a smell — kind of like old seaweed or old greens, which makes sense considering the ingredients. Also, I don’t think it absorbed well into my skin. I’ll stick to Olay.

It’s described as a lightweight gel texture but it’s quite gloopy and a little more tacky than silky feeling, which may be due the oils in the ingredients. On my combo dehydrated skin I need to apply a lot and it feels like it sits a little bit on top of the skin, smaller amounts do absorb better but are not hydrating enough. My oily t zone is left a little shiny, my skin is also very sensitive and as with a lot of organic skincare there is something it in that causes me slight irritation and luckily I patch tested as I had to rinse it off some more sensitive patches. One of the worst moisturisers I have ever bought. It doesn’t get absorbed at all. Sit on your skin. Together with vit C serum peels under make up. Make up looks cakey on top of it and patchy. It makes you look greasy. I love putting oil on my face and I love dewy finish but this is absolutely horrible. I would be throwing it away. Such a waste of money. If you do make up, do not buy this products. It’s horrible
